New Miele Fridges and Freezers are Energy-Efficient and Ergonomic

Introduction to the New Generation

Miele is launching a new generation of refrigerators and freezers designed for installation under worktops, ideal for small households. This new range offers improved energy efficiency, greater convenience, and ergonomic details. Customers can choose from four fridge models and two freezer models.

These appliances are available for installation at comfortable heights of up to 92 centimetres.

Ergonomic Design and User Convenience

Recognizing that bending down is often unavoidable at under-worktop installation heights, Miele has incorporated clever solutions to enhance usability. The drawers in all appliances are designed to be easily removable, allowing for convenient filling, sorting, or cleaning from an upright position.

For added flexibility, the shelves in the refrigerator doors are height-adjustable. The divisible 'FlexiBoard' glass shelf is also variable, enabling tall containers or packs to be stored upright and kept within easy reach.

Advanced Cooling and Features

A particularly practical feature for smaller refrigerators is the dynamic cooling system, 'DynaCool'. This system maintains a constant temperature throughout the interior, eliminating the need to rearrange contents after shopping.

The new generation also includes extensive, dishwasher-safe accessories, gentle door closing thanks to 'SoftClose', and the convenient 'NoFrost' function for freezers, which negates the need for manual defrosting. Network capability is also part of the comprehensive package.

Installation Flexibility and Design Integration

To ensure a consistent kitchen design, Miele offers these appliances with the standard niche height of 82 centimetres. Additionally, one model per category is available for a new comfort height of 86 to 92 centimetres. This higher niche option means an additional panel is no longer necessary, simplifying installation.

Models with pull-out trolleys are also available, where pull-outs replace the usual drawers and are operated directly from above.

Energy Efficiency and Availability

All appliances in the new generation are significantly more energy-efficient. The models are rated in energy efficiency classes C or D, representing an improvement of one class compared to their predecessors. All models are currently available in stores.
