The installation method may vary with scenarios. 3.3.1 Wall Installation 1. Place the drill template horizontally on the wall, select a set of holes from A-A, B-B, C-C, and D-D on the template (C-C is recommended), and then drill holes at the selected hole positions. The diameter of the hole is consistent with the outer diameter of the plastic expansion pipe. 2. Insert plastic expansion pipes into the holes. 3. Keep the four legs of the wall mount bracket facing outward and upward, and use round head cross screws to secure the bracket on the wall by aligning the screws with the plastic expansion pipes. 3 4. Connect the power cable and network cable to the rear panel correctly (see Dimensions and Structure for details). 5. Fix the indoor station and bracket: Align the slots on the indoor station with the four legs of the bracket and install the indoor station. 3.3.2 Box Installation 1. Determine the position of the 86*86mm junction box (user-supplied or purchased separately): Use the existing junction box embedded in the wall or drill a hole to embed one. The two installation holes on the box should be parallel to the ground during installation. 2. Keep the four legs of the bracket facing outward and upward, align the A-A holes with the holes on the junction box, and then secure them by tightening the round head cross screws (see Wall Installation for the hole position). 3. Same as step 4-step 5 in Wall Installation. 4 4 Startup After the indoor station is installed properly, connect one end of the power adapter (usersupplied or purchased separately) to the power interface and the other end to the mains supply, and then start it up. The display screen lights up, and live video is displayed on the screen when it is started successfully. 5 Network Settings You can configure network settings on the Web interface or on the display screen. 5.1 On the Display Screen 1. Go to Settings > Activation Config > Enter project password, enter the password (123456 by default). 2. Select Indoor Station on the left and configure the network parameters. If a DHCP server is deployed in the network, an IP address may be assigned automatically, and you need to use the assigned IP address to log in. 3. Tap Apply to save the settings. 5.2 On the Web Interface You can log in to the Web interface to manage and maintain the indoor station after it is started successfully. 1. Open your browser, enter the device's IP address (192.168.1.13 by default) in the address bar and then press Enter to open the login page. 2. On the login page, enter the username and password (admin/123456 by default), and then click Login. NOTE! · DHCP is enabled by default. If a DHCP server is deployed in the network, an IP address may be assigned automatically, and you need to use the assigned IP address to log in. · The default password is intended only for your first login. To ensure security, please change the password immediately after your first login. You are strongly recommended to set a strong password of at least nine characters including all three elements: digits, letters and special characters. 3. Go to Setup > Common > Wired Network, configure the network parameters. 4. Network Security Please take all necessary measures to enhance network security for your device. The following are necessary measures for the network security of your device: Change default password and set strong password: You are strongly recommended to change the default password after your first login and set a strong password of at least nine characters including all three elements: digits, letters and special characters. Keep firmware up to date: It is recommended that your device is always upgraded to the latest version for the latest functions and better security. The following are recommendations for enhancing network security of your device: Change password regularly: Change your device password on a regular basis and keep the password safe. Make sure only the authorized user can log in to the device. Enable HTTPS/SSL: Use SSL certificate to encrypt HTTP communications and ensure data security. Enable IP address filtering: Allow access only from the specified IP addresses. Minimum port mapping: Configure your router or firewall to open a minimum set of ports to the WAN and keep only the necessary port mappings. Never set the device as the DMZ host or configure a full cone NAT. Disable the automatic login and save password features: If multiple users have access to your computer, it is recommended that you disable these features to prevent unauthorized access. Choose username and password discretely: Avoid using the username and password of your social media, bank, email account, etc, as the username and password of your device, in case your social media, bank and email account information is leaked. Restrict user permissions: If more than one user needs access to your system, make sure each user is granted only the necessary permissions. Disable UPnP: When UPnP is enabled, the router will automatically map internal ports, and the system will automatically forward port data, which results in the risks of data leakage.
