CyberPower CST150UC-FC User Manual
Your Ultimate Ally in Power
Product Overview
The CST150UC-FC provides complete power protection from inconsistent utility power. It features 1500 Joules of surge protection and offers long-lasting battery backup during power outages with maintenance-free batteries. The unit ensures consistent power to your computer system and includes software that automatically saves open files and shuts down your computer during a utility power loss.
Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR): The CST150UC-FC stabilizes inconsistent utility power voltage to nominal levels that are safe for equipment. AVR automatically increases low utility power to a consistent and safe 110/120 volts, protecting your hardware and data from damaging voltage fluctuations.

- Do not use extension cords, outlet strips, or surge strips.
- Connect only to a circuit with 20 amperes maximum branch circuit overcurrent protection.
Installing Your UPS System
- Unpacking: Inspect the UPS upon receipt. The box should contain the UPS, User's Manual, USB A+B type cable, and Function Setup Guide. Download PowerPanel Personal software from cyberpowersystems.com.
- Initial Charging: Charge the battery for at least 8 hours to ensure maximum charge capacity. The UPS charges automatically when plugged into an AC outlet.
- Connecting Equipment: With the UPS off and unplugged, connect your computer, monitor, and other peripherals to the battery power supplied outlets. Do not connect high-demand devices to these outlets.
- Connecting to AC Power: Plug the UPS into a properly grounded 2-pole, 3-wire receptacle protected by a fuse or circuit breaker. Ensure the outlet is not used for equipment with large electrical demands.
- Powering On: Press the power switch to turn the unit on. The Power On indicator will illuminate, and the unit will beep. If an overload is detected, an alarm will sound. Correct by turning off the UPS, unplugging equipment, resetting the circuit breaker, and turning the UPS back on.
- Continuous Charging: Leave the UPS plugged into an AC outlet at all times to maintain optimal battery charge.
- Storage: For extended storage, cover the UPS and store with the battery fully charged. Recharge the battery every three months.
- Placement: Ensure the wall outlet and UPS are located near the equipment for proper accessibility.

CyberPower GreenPower UPS™ Technology
CyberPower's patented GreenPower UPS™ with Bypass Technology reduces UPS energy costs by up to 75% compared to conventional UPS models. Under normal conditions, the advanced circuitry bypasses the transformer, significantly increasing power efficiency, reducing waste heat, and lowering energy costs. During abnormal power conditions, the UPS automatically runs power through its transformer to regulate voltage and provide safe power. The GreenPower UPS™ is also manufactured in accordance with the Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive.
