Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical devices, basic safety precautions should always be followed:

Use this device only for trimming/clipping as described in this instruction manual. Do not use for other purposes.
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the unit, plug, or cord in water or other liquids.
This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible person.
Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the device.
Unplug from the wall outlet when not in use, when charging is complete, when moving the device, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. Grip the plug and pull the charger from the outlet to disconnect.
Avoid contact with moving parts.
Do not operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
To avoid risk of fire, NEVER place the charging cable under rugs or near open flames, cooking, or heating appliances.
Do not operate the device with a damaged cord or plug, after it malfunctions, or has been dropped/damaged. Discard or contact customer service.
Do not run the charging cable under carpeting. Do not cover the cable with rugs or similar coverings. Do not route the cable under furniture or appliances. Arrange the cable away from high traffic areas where it won't be tripped over.
The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause injuries.
Do not let the cable hang over the edge of a table or counter, or come into contact with hot surfaces, including the stove.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this device with any solid-state speed control device.
It is recommended to store or charge the device in a room with an ambient temperature between 41°F and 104°F (5°C and 40°C).
Use only the provided charging cable and charger. Use of non-listed/non-certified parts may damage the device and void the warranty. Contact customer service for spare and replacement parts.
When the device is charging, the battery indicator will display the current level. When fully charged, it is recommended to disconnect from the power source. Continuous overcharging can shorten battery life.
Use battery-operated devices only with the specifically designated and integrated battery type. Use of any other batteries may create a risk of fire.
Do not incinerate this device, even if severely damaged, as batteries can explode in a fire. Never incinerate or dispose of batteries into a fire.
The battery must be removed from the device before disposal.
The device must be disconnected from the power supply when removing the battery.
The battery is to be disposed of safely.
WARNING: For recharging the battery, use only the detachable supply unit M29US provided with this device.
IPX5 rating applies to the clipper body only.
NOTE: THIS UNIT CONTAINS A LI-ION BATTERY. BATTERY MUST BE RECYCLED OR DISPOSED PROPERLY. CHECK LOCAL AUTHORITY REGULATIONS. NEVER INCINERATE OR DISPOSE BATTERIES INTO A FIRE.
Before First Use
Charging the Battery
Charge the battery for at least 90 minutes before the first use.
Insert the charging cable into the device charging port. Connect the USB end into the charger.
Plug the charger into a standard 120V outlet.
The battery can be charged at any time and at any power level.
A full charge provides up to 2 hours of use.
NOTE: The clipper can be used while charging.
Operating Instructions
To turn the device ON to speed 1, press and hold the Power Button for approximately 1.5 seconds. The blade will begin operation. The Flashlight, Power Indicator Light, and LED Screen will illuminate.
Quickly press the Power Button to toggle between the 2 Speed Settings and OFF. All indicator lights and the screen will turn OFF when the device is successfully turned OFF.
NOTE: To turn the Flashlight ON/OFF, press the Power Button for 1.5 seconds when the device is turned ON.
NOTE: If the blade becomes clogged during clipping, all lights will flash for 3 seconds and the unit will turn off. Refer to the Cleaning and Maintenance section to clean the blade before continuing.

Comb Attachments
Use Comb Attachments for trimming to extend the cutting length of the hair.
It is recommended to start with the longest comb attachment (e.g., 19mm or 3/4") and work down to achieve the desired length.
To attach a comb: Hold the clipper body with the blade facing upwards. Gently push the comb onto the blade until it clicks into place.
NOTE: The clipper can be used without comb attachments, but with caution. Without a comb, the cutting length is approximately 1mm. Move slowly and do not press the blade directly on the skin to avoid injury.
NOTE: For best results, hair should be dry when cutting. Wet hair is more difficult to cut and may reduce blade sharpness and effectiveness.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Blade Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning the blade: Use the cleaning brush to remove loose hair from the blade. The blade assembly can be rinsed under running water while attached to the clipper body for a quick clean. For deeper cleaning, remove the blade.
Maintenance of the blade: When the blade is removed, place one drop of oil in each of the indicated areas on the blade assembly. Gently move the movable holder to distribute the oil evenly. The blade can then be re-installed.
NOTE: Do not remove parts of the blade assembly as this could render it inoperable.
NOTE: After each use, brush away loose hairs from the blade. If hair accumulates between the blade and clipper body, rinse the blade under running water and dry thoroughly. For stubborn hair, remove the blade and clean with water.
NOTE: For optimal performance and to extend blade life, oil the blade after each cleaning.
The service life of the blade depends on frequency of use, hair quality, and maintenance.
NOTE: When replacing the blade, contact customer service. Do not use incompatible blades from other manufacturers.
NOTE: During extended clipping sessions or when working through thick hair, the blade may feel slightly warm. This is normal and does not affect functionality.
Body Cleaning and Maintenance
After each use, use the brush to sweep away any remaining hair fragments on the clipper.
Use a soft damp cloth to clean the body of the clipper.
Note: DO NOT USE gasoline, alcohol, thinner, or other corrosive chemical agents.
After cleaning the body, wipe with a dry cloth, add lubricating oil to the blade head, and store in a dry place. Storing in the provided carrying case is recommended.
Limited Three-Year Warranty
What is Covered and How Long Coverage Lasts
KONG warrants the Product against materials and/or workmanship defects for 3 years from the original date of purchase in the United States or Canada from an authorized seller for the original purchaser. This warranty is subject to limitations.
What is Not Covered
KONG may deny warranty requests if problems are caused by normal wear and tear (except for blade malfunction under normal use), misuse, accident, theft, alteration, improper repair, or improper storage. Consequential, indirect, special, punitive, and incidental damages are not recoverable.
Should the Product’s blade malfunction under normal use, KONG’s sole obligation is to provide one blade replacement during the three-year warranty period.
What KONG will Do
This warranty is limited to repair or replacement on an exchange basis, at KONG’s discretion, for products deemed defective when they left the factory. KONG may also refund the purchase price, less depreciation, if the situation warrants.
If a replacement is required and the defective product is discontinued or unavailable, KONG may supply a similar product or offer full credit to the original seller.

This warranty is governed by Delaware law. It provides specific legal rights, and you may have other rights varying by state. To the extent permitted by law, this warranty is exclusive and replaces all other warranties, express or implied. Some states may not allow limitations, so these may not apply to you. KONG's total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
Environmental Protection and Recycling
The battery contains substances that may be harmful to the environment. Dispose of the device according to local environmental regulations. Never incinerate or dispose of batteries/device into a fire.
