• Browning Level Adjustment (6): A slider to select the desired level of browning, from light to dark.
• Special Function Buttons:
• Single-Sided Toasting: Ideal for baguettes or rolls, toasting only one side.
• Warming/Retoasting (3): Warms up cold toast or lightly toasts bread that is too pale.
• Defrosting (4): Extends the toasting cycle to toast frozen bread.
• Stop Button (5): Interrupts the toasting process at any time.
• Roll Attachment (7): A lever for warming bread rolls on top of the toaster.
• Crumb Tray (8): Collects crumbs and slides out for easy emptying.

Start-up: Before first use, run the toaster empty for at least three cycles at a medium setting to remove protective coatings. This may produce a temporary smell, ensure good ventilation.

Toasting: Insert bread slices (max 2.8 cm thick). Select browning level. Press the lift button (1) down to start. The toaster automatically stops and lifts the toast when done.

Browning Guide: Adjust the browning level (6) according to your preference. Results may vary based on bread type, moisture, and thickness.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• Remove crumbs from the heating elements and grids with a stiff brush. Do not tilt the appliance.
• Slide out the crumb tray (8), empty, clean, and reinsert it.
• Never immerse the toaster in water.
• Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild dish soap. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners.

Disposal

At the end of its life, this product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. It should be taken to a collection point for recycling electrical and electronic appliances.
