Unpacking Your Rapid Rinser
Verify you have received the following items:
- Rapid Rinser
- Water hose
- Owner's manual
- Rapid Rinse Station - Optional (see section 8)
Remove all components from the shipping carton and verify all items were included. Check for packing materials blocking openings. Inspect all items for possible handling damage and contact your Blendtec representative immediately if there is evidence of broken or missing parts.
Recording Your Date of Purchase / Receipt
Record the date you received/purchased your Rapid Rinser for service purposes.
Date of Purchase / Receipt: _________________________
Section 4: Installation
This equipment is to be installed with adequate backflow protection to comply with federal, state, or local codes.
Place the Rapid Rinser in the Sink Basin Where It Will Be Used
Ensure the suction cups adhere to the basin floor (lightly moisten each cup with a drop of water to facilitate suction).
Place a Blender Jar (or Other Rinsable Container 8" [20.3cm] Wide or Smaller) Over the Spray Nozzle
Connect the Water Hose to an Available Water Line
It is recommended that a certified plumber install the available water line with its own shut-off valve.
Turn the Water On
After the water line has been connected, turn on the water supply. Use hot water as per section 1.7.
Prime the Rinser
Press the blender jar (or other container) down to activate the Rapid Rinser. A steady spray of water should shoot from the nozzle. Release pressure to stop the flow. If this does not work, contact your Blendtec representative.
Section 5: Operating Instructions
Place the Blender Jar (or Other Rinsable Kitchen Container) Upside Down on the Rapid Rinser Base
Turn the Water On to Activate the Rapid Rinser
Firmly Press the Blender Jar Down to Activate Water Valve
Release the Downward Pressure When the Jar Has Been Rinsed to Your Satisfaction
Once the Spray of Water Has Subsided, Remove the Rinsed Blender Jar and Allow It to Dry in the Inverted Position
Turn the Water Off When the Rapid Rinser Is Not in Use
This will prevent any possibility of spray when a blender jar is not in position.
Section 6: Sanitation
Short-Term Sanitation
Shut off water, disconnect hose. Pull Rinser from sink. Immerse in a sink full of sanitizing solution per manufacturer's recommendation. Rinse with clean water. Allow to dry. Re-attach water fitting.
Long-Term Sanitation
Shut off water, disconnect hose. Pull Rinser from sink. Unscrew spray nozzle. Separate the two halves of the Rapid Rinser. Do not misplace the spring (see Figure 2). Clean and sanitize as per governing health department requirements. Rinse thoroughly. Allow all components to dry completely. Reassemble by placing the spring on the water valve, then the top shell, aligning the opening with the spring. Insert and tighten the spray nozzle. Replace Rinser in sink basin and reattach water hose.
Section 7: Warranty and Service
Warranty
The Blendtec Rapid Rinser is warranted for one year from the date of purchase/receipt against manufacturing and material defects. The stainless steel spray nozzle has a lifetime warranty.
Abuse or Mistreatment
Obvious abuse or mistreatment of the Rapid Rinser may void the warranty.
Need Service
Should you need service, please contact your Blendtec representative.
Section 8: Rapid Rinse Station
With the addition of the Rapid Rinse Station, you will no longer need to place your Rapid Rinser in a sink. With a water line and a drain line, you can put the Rapid Rinse Station in the most convenient spot, such as next to your Blendtec blender, to save time and make operations smoother.
Specifications
- Dimensions: 20.2" L x 8.3" W x 6.5" H (51.3 cm x 21.1cm x 16.5 cm)
- Weight: 5.3 lbs. (2.4 kg)
- Drain Connection: 3/4" Garden Hose Thread
Directions
Place the Rapid Rinser in the Rapid Rinse Station as shown. If you already own the Rapid Rinser, remove the four suction cups on the bottom before placing it in the station.
Diagram Description (Back and Front Views): The Rapid Rinse Station is shown from the back and front. The back view displays the 3/4" garden hose drain connection, while the front view shows the integrated holders designed to position blender jars for rinsing. The unit is a black, rectangular structure.
Connect a 3/4" garden hose drain line to the back of the rinse station in accordance with your local codes. A licensed plumber is recommended for installation. Ensure the drain line slopes away from the station as it is a gravity-driven system.
Do not allow the water line or drain line to hang over the edge of the work surface.
Always shut the water off at the source before cleaning, moving, or servicing.
Cleaning / Sanitation
- ▶️ Using a mild soapy solution, wipe down all surfaces of the Rapid Rinse Station.
- ▶️ Use clear, hot water to rinse the surfaces. A handheld spray bottle works best.
- ▶️ To sanitize, spray or wipe surfaces with a sanitizing solution diluted to the recommended level and left on the unit per the manufacturer's specification.
Drying / Storage
The area behind the Rapid Rinse Station is designed to store and dry your jars. See the picture below for an example of how this works.
Diagram Description (Drying/Storage Area): A visual representation shows blender jars positioned upside down in the dedicated area at the rear of the Rapid Rinse Station, facilitating efficient drying.
