Installation
Follow the installation steps illustrated in Figures 1 through 6.
Figure 1: Illustrates the physical mounting of the thermostat base unit to the wall.
Figure 2: Depicts the electrical wiring connections. It shows terminals for Line (L), Neutral (N), and Load (M), as well as connections for a 220-240V, 50-60 Hz power supply. It also includes connections for a floor sensor (NTC) and specifies maximum load (10W, equivalent to 5 Danfoss TWA actuators) and wire gauge (≤ 1.5 mm²).
Figures 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b: Show the procedure for disassembling the thermostat unit from its mounting plate, typically involving releasing clips and detaching the unit.
Setup
Upon initial power-up, the date and time will flash, indicating they are not set.
Use the navigation buttons ([Up Arrow]/[Down Arrow]) to set the correct date and time: Year, Month, Day, Hour, and Minute. Confirm each setting with the [Checkmark] button.
The default settings are configured for a typical installation on solid floors, using normally closed (NC) actuators, and the PO program (maintaining a constant comfortable temperature). No further action is required for these default settings.
Advanced Functions and Menu
For program changes, refer to the User Guide. For changing settings, consult the Advanced Functions section.
Advanced Functions (Refer to Figures 1 & 2):
- Application of global setback/cooling function (Figure 1).
- Application of a floor sensor (Figure 2). An electrical conduit must be used for floor sensor installation.
Menu Access (Refer to Figure 3):
Press and hold the navigation button to access the service menu.
Figure 3: Displays the thermostat's menu structure. Key options include:
- Program selection (P0 - P6).
- Time adjustment (± 1 hour).
- Product ID / Version display.
- Actuator type setting (NC / NO).
- Temperature range settings (Min. 18°C, Max. 35°C).
- Floor heating type indicators: `*` for heavy floor heating, `*` for light floor heating, and `*` for radiator/convector.
- `**` indicates that floor sensor data is displayed only when a floor sensor is connected.
Final Check, Handover, and Disassembly
Final Check: Increase the temperature setting and verify that the actuator opens correctly.
Handover: Inform the customer about the program settings and ensure the User Guide is provided.
Disassembly: To remove the thermostat, first disconnect the power supply using the circuit breaker, then follow the illustrated steps in Figures 4 and 5.
