Safety Rules
General Safety Rules
- Read the user manual and follow instructions. Learn how to use the product and familiarize yourself with safety rules. Keep the manual for future reference and provide it to others who may use the product.
- Keep the working area clean and tidy. Untidy areas can lead to accidents.
- Ensure the working area is well lit and ventilated. Do not use tools with flammable liquids or gases nearby. Do not expose tools to rain or use them in wet areas. Check for additional requirements based on specific usage (e.g., in vehicles, on ships, or aircraft).
- Protect against electrical shock. Avoid contact between the body and earthed surfaces (e.g., pipes, radiators, cooktops, refrigerators).
- Do not allow visitors to touch the product or extension cable. Keep visitors away. Do not allow the product to be used as a toy.
- This device may be used by children aged 8 and above, and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, provided they are supervised or have received instructions on safe use and are aware of potential risks. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by unsupervised children.
- Tidy up unused tools. Store unused tools in a dry, locked place, out of reach of children. Do not leave a stored tool plugged in after it has cooled down (approx. 30 minutes).
- Do not force the tool. A tool provides better results and is safer when used at its designed power.
- Use the appropriate tool. Do not force a small tool to do a job meant for a larger one, or use the tool for unintended purposes.
- Wear appropriate clothing. Avoid loose clothing or jewelry that could get caught. Wear protective gloves and non-slip shoes for outdoor work. Wear a helmet to contain long hair.
- Wear safety goggles and hearing protection if noise levels exceed 85 dB(A). Noise levels may exceed specified values depending on the working environment and material.
- Do not damage the power supply cable. Never use the cable to carry the product. Do not unplug by pulling the cable, and do not bend it. Protect the cable from heat, grease, and sharp edges.
- Hold the material being worked on. Use blocks or a vice to secure the workpiece for safety.
- Take care of your tools. Keep them clean to optimize work and safety. Follow instructions for lubrication and accessory changes. Periodically check the condition of tool cords and replace if necessary. Keep handles clean and free of oil.
- Unplug tools when not in use, before maintenance, or before changing accessories.
- Avoid unintentional start-ups. Do not carry a plugged-in tool with a finger on the switch. Ensure the switch is OFF before plugging in. Do not use a tool if the switch malfunctions; contact authorized service for replacement.
- For outdoor use, use only approved outdoor extension cords. Periodically check extension cords and replace if damaged.
- Stay vigilant and concentrate on the work. Exercise judgment. Do not use the tool when tired, under the influence of alcohol, medication, or drugs.
- Remove setting keys. Get into the habit of checking that setting keys are removed before turning on the tool.
- Check for damaged parts before use. Ensure parts function correctly and are properly aligned. Have damaged parts repaired or replaced by authorized service. Faulty switches must be replaced. Do not use the tool if the switch does not control start/stop.
- Warning: Using accessories or parts not recommended in this manual may cause personal injury.
- Have the product repaired by a specialist. This electrical device complies with safety rules. Repair by unqualified persons or use of non-original parts poses an injury risk.
- These safety rules and instructions are not exhaustive. Users must exercise common sense and caution, especially for situations not explicitly covered.
Particular Safety Rules
- Do not use the soldering iron if the device, power cable, or plug is damaged.
- Use the soldering iron in a well-ventilated area. Some soldering materials emit toxic fumes. Ensure adequate ventilation. Never use in a closed area. Always wear a suitable respirator mask during soldering. Some solder wires may contain high proportions of lead.
- Never touch the hot tip, even after unplugging, as there is a burn risk. Parts of this device reach very high temperatures. Only touch the handle while soldering. The part between the tip and the handle is very hot.
- Always turn off the device and let it cool down completely before handling or changing accessories.
- Check that the tip is not unscrewed from the handle (tighten when cold).
- Do not use the soldering iron in the presence of children or leave it within their reach.
- Use a non-flammable and stable support to place the iron between solders.
- Be mindful of the cable's position; the iron is lightweight and can be pulled by the cable.
- Keep flammable materials (fabrics, wood, paper, cardboard) away from the soldering iron. Heat can spread to hidden parts or nearby objects. Ensure no combustion sources are present. Do not use near fuel tanks or gas bottles, as residual heat can ignite soldering waste.
- Always turn off the iron during breaks and do not leave it unattended when hot.
- Never solder a live workpiece.
- The mains voltage must match the data on the device's identification plate.
- Any repair must be performed by a specialist or authorized service.
- Do not use the device if it is wet or in a humid environment.
- To change the tip, always unplug the device and let it cool down.
- Wear suitable protective goggles for soldering.
- It is recommended to wear protective gloves, a mask, and an apron. Molten lead produces toxic fumes; always use appropriate respiratory protection. Lead fumes are particularly toxic for children, pregnant women, and individuals with high blood pressure. Keep high-risk individuals away from the work area, even if they have respiratory protection.
- After use, let the soldering iron cool down in the air; do not use water.
- In case of danger, immediately unplug the device.
- Be attentive and do not use the device if you are distracted.
- Handle the device with care: it must be clean, dry, and free of oils and grease.
- Clean the workstation after soldering.
- Wash hands after use.
- Dispose of soldering waste responsibly.

Usage Instructions
Unpacking
Unpack your soldering gun carefully and inspect it. Familiarize yourself with all features. If any parts are damaged or missing, get them repaired or replaced before use.
Soldering Area
Prepare a clean, protected, quiet, and well-lit workspace. Place the soldering gun on its stand when not in use. Have a damp sponge ready to clean the tip if necessary. Use a vice to hold the workpiece if possible. Ensure the area is well-ventilated as soldering fumes can be toxic. Route the power cable away from the work area to prevent accidental contact with the hot tip.
Starting and Turning Off
Ensure the mains voltage matches the identification plate on the device. To turn on, plug the product into a power source. The gun takes 6-8 seconds to reach operating temperature (approx. 230°C). The indicator light turns on when the product is powered. To turn off, unplug the product from the power source.
Soldering Technique
Wear appropriate protective equipment (goggles, gloves, etc.). Workpieces must be clean, free of grease and oxidation. Ensure the tip is securely attached. Place the gun on its stand; do not let the heating element or tip rest on a surface that can be damaged by heat. Plug in the iron at least 5 minutes before use to allow it to reach operating temperature. Apply the hot tip to the wire or workpiece, add solder to the joint, then remove the iron.
Maintenance
Perform maintenance operations only when the product is UNPLUGGED and COLD.
General Maintenance
If the power cable is melted or cut, do not use the soldering gun due to electrocution risk. Cable repairs must be done by a qualified person.
Cleaning
Soldering guns can oxidize and become dirty quickly. Unplug the gun before cleaning. Clean the tip before and after each use with a suitable stripping solution and sponge. While hot, the tip can be cleaned with a damp sponge until shiny.
Changing the Tip
Contact the authorized After-Sales Service for replacement parts. Unscrew the fixing screws, remove the old tip, insert the new tip into the heating element, and retighten the screws.
Storage
Store the tool in a dry area, out of reach of children.
Connection
This device must be connected to an earthed power supply.
Warranty
The warranty is void in cases of abnormal use, incorrect application, electrical modification, damage during transport or handling, use of non-original parts or accessories, or maintenance performed by unauthorized personnel. Failure to comply with the instructions will void the warranty.
