About the Game
The XD COLLECTION Connect Four Wooden Game is designed for two players. Each player chooses a color, either black or red, and uses the 21 pieces of their chosen color. The objective is to be the first to get four of your colored pieces in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
How to Play
Players take turns dropping one colored piece into one of the seven slots at the top of the game grid. The piece falls to the lowest available position in that column. The game continues until one player achieves four pieces in a row or until all the slots are filled. If all slots are filled without a winner, the game is a draw, and players can start a new game.
Game Setup and Rules
- The game includes 21 black pieces and 21 red pieces.
- The youngest player typically starts the first game.
- Subsequent games can be started by the winner or loser of the previous round, as decided by the players.
- The first player to get four of their colored pieces in a line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) wins the game.
