Meaning of Symbols

Warning Symbols:

Safety Instructions

Always follow the safety instructions below for safe use of the device. Failure to follow these instructions may endanger persons or the environment.

• This device must be supplied through a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
• Ensure the voltage shown on the label matches the mains supply voltage.
• Protect the socket, controller, and plug against moisture.
• Do not use the product if the device, cord, or controller is damaged. Recycle the light unit.
• Be careful with the combination of water and electricity. Do not operate with wet hands. Dry hands before carrying out maintenance.
• Do not immerse the LED lighting in water.
• ? NOTICE: The LED lighting becomes warm. Allow the lighting to cool down before carrying out maintenance.
• This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above, persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the device shall not be done by children without supervision.

Setting Up Your BioArt

Step 1: Cleaning

Clean the BioArt thoroughly with clean tap water and rinse completely. Never use cleaning products or alcohol. Always use a clean microfibre cloth.

Step 2: Rinsing Materials

Rinse the wood, gravel, stones, or deco well with tap water before use. Never rinse Vulcanic soil.

Step 3: Adding Substrate

Fill the BioArt with Vulcanic soil or gravel. The thickness depends on plant usage (BioArt Vulcanic soil is recommended).

Step 4: Hard Scape

Place your "Hard Scape" (e.g., stones, wood, or deco) if desired.

Step 5: Planting

Use the BioArt Scaping Set (tweezers) to place plants in the BioArt.

Step 6: Adding Water

Add water until it is 1 cm below the substrate, depending on the type of plant. The amount of spraying, lighting, and ventilation all depend on the type of plant.

Step 7: Final Touches

Spray plants for humidity. Dry the glass with the BioArt Tool Kit (using the moisture wiper) to avoid scale deposit. Fit the lid with the LED lamp.

Step 8: Humidity Adjustment

Adjust the grid in the lid to set the humidity depending on the plants used.

Step 9: Controller and Power

Controller Functions:

• Dimmer: The LED can be dimmed in 10 steps.
• LED Switching: Switch between different LED modes.
• Timer: On/Off function. The LED fan starts automatically at higher brightness levels.

Timer Settings:

• The timer turns the lighting on and off daily at the same time according to the selected duration.
• Press once: 3 hours on.
• Press twice: 9 hours on.
• Press three times: 12 hours on.
• The set period starts immediately and repeats automatically every day.
• Example: Set time at 6:00 PM with 3 hours (press once). The lighting turns on at 6:00 PM, off at 9:00 PM, and repeats the next day.

Connect the USB to the charger and plug the charger into the power socket. Set the light with the integrated timer depending on your plant needs and the location of the BioArt.

Recycling and Warranty

Recycling

This symbol indicates that this product (if discarded) may not be disposed of with normal household waste. Instead, it must be handed in at an official collection centre or returned to the dealer when purchasing a similar new product. Follow applicable country rules for separate collection of electrical and electronic products. Separate collection and recycling are better for the environment, public health, and reduce waste.

Warranty

2 years manufacturer's warranty on materials and construction defects. Devices must be returned complete with all components, accompanied by an official proof of purchase confirming the purchase date for any warranty claims. Incomplete devices or those without proof of purchase are not eligible. After receiving and checking, Aquadistri will determine if the device will be repaired or replaced. For a device repaired or replaced under warranty, the remaining time of the original warranty period applies. Carefully read the instructions on installation, use, and maintenance. Damage due to incorrect use, contamination, not cleaning the glass, glass breakage, leakage, and modifications to the light unit or damage to the cord are not covered by the warranty. Aquadistri is not liable for damage to plants and interiors caused by glass breakage and/or leaks. Always keep the proof of purchase; without proof of purchase, the warranty will be void!
