Using the NumberPad (on selected models)

This section explains the functionality of the NumberPad, which can act as either a numeric keypad or a touchpad.

Key Functions:

Press and hold a specific key for one second to switch between number keys and touchpad mode.
Tap a specific key to adjust the brightness of the NumberPad.
Press and hold a specific key, then slide your finger anywhere on the NumberPad to launch the Windows Calculator.

Important Note: The NumberPad feature is supported on the latest Microsoft Windows® operating system. To use the '%' and '=' functions, set the input language to English.

Getting Started: Charging Your Notebook PC

Follow these steps to charge your Notebook PC:

Connect the DC power connector into the notebook's power (DC) input port.
Plug the AC power adapter into a 100V~240V power source.
Lift to open the display panel.
Press the power button.

Important: Charge the Notebook PC for 3 hours before using it in battery mode for the first time.

Note: The power adapter's appearance may vary depending on the model and region.

Safety Notices for Your Notebook PC

WARNING!

The notebook can become warm to hot during use or charging. Avoid prolonged contact with your body to prevent heat injury.
Do not place the notebook on surfaces that block vents during operation.

CAUTION!

Use only in ambient temperatures between 5°C (41°F) and 35°C (95°F).
Ensure your power adapter complies with the rating label on the notebook.
The power adapter may become warm; do not cover it and keep it away from your body while connected to a power source.

IMPORTANT!

Ensure the notebook is connected to a grounded power adapter before first use.
Ensure the socket outlet is accessible when using AC power.
Verify power adapter input/output ratings match the notebook's.

Battery Precautions:

Only authorized technicians should remove the battery.

Never short-circuit the battery.
Never attempt to disassemble or reassemble the battery.
Discontinue use if leakage is found.
