Using the NumberPad (on selected models)
This section explains the functionality of the NumberPad, which can act as either a numeric keypad or a touchpad.
Key Functions:
- Press and hold a specific key for one second to switch between number keys and touchpad mode.
- Tap a specific key to adjust the brightness of the NumberPad.
- Press and hold a specific key, then slide your finger anywhere on the NumberPad to launch the Windows Calculator.
Important Note: The NumberPad feature is supported on the latest Microsoft Windows® operating system. To use the '%' and '=' functions, set the input language to English.

Getting Started: Charging Your Notebook PC
Follow these steps to charge your Notebook PC:
- Connect the DC power connector into the notebook's power (DC) input port.
- Plug the AC power adapter into a 100V~240V power source.
- Lift to open the display panel.
- Press the power button.
Important: Charge the Notebook PC for 3 hours before using it in battery mode for the first time.
Note: The power adapter's appearance may vary depending on the model and region.
Safety Notices for Your Notebook PC
WARNING!
- The notebook can become warm to hot during use or charging. Avoid prolonged contact with your body to prevent heat injury.
- Do not place the notebook on surfaces that block vents during operation.
CAUTION!
- Use only in ambient temperatures between 5°C (41°F) and 35°C (95°F).
- Ensure your power adapter complies with the rating label on the notebook.
- The power adapter may become warm; do not cover it and keep it away from your body while connected to a power source.
IMPORTANT!
- Ensure the notebook is connected to a grounded power adapter before first use.
- Ensure the socket outlet is accessible when using AC power.
- Verify power adapter input/output ratings match the notebook's.

Battery Precautions:
- Only authorized technicians should remove the battery.
- The battery may present fire or chemical burn risks if removed or disassembled.
- Follow all warning labels for personal safety.
- Risk of explosion if replaced with an incorrect battery type.
- Do not dispose of the battery in fire.
- Never short-circuit the battery.
- Never attempt to disassemble or reassemble the battery.
- Discontinue use if leakage is found.
- Dispose of or recycle the battery and its components properly.
- Keep batteries and small components away from children.
