Important Safety Instructions
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE AND SAVE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
When using an electrical appliance, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
Intended Use
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Intended for use with dogs or cats only. Do not use with puppies, kittens, dogs or cats not able to reach the food tray or with any physical disability.
- Use only for intended household purposes.
Electricity Safety
- DO NOT operate if the power cord or plug is damaged, or if it is malfunctioning.
- DO NOT immerse power cord, plugs, or the device base in water or other liquid.
- To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not place or store where it can fall into a tub or sink.
- Always unplug when not in use, before putting on/taking off parts, and before cleaning. Never unplug by pulling the power cord.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons.
- Use ONLY the provided power adapter and charging cable.
Related to Use
- DO NOT attempt to disassemble, repair, modify or replace any part. Servicing should be performed by qualified personnel only.
- DO NOT allow pets to chew on or swallow any parts. Cover or hide the power cord to prevent pets from biting.

Exploring Your Pet Feeder
The feeder consists of the following parts:

Status Indicators
- Flashes Red: Food Stuck ❌
- On Green: Feeding Normally ?
- Flashes Yellow: Battery Low ?

Display Screen
- Food Stuck: Indicates food is jammed.
- Locked: Control panel is locked.
- Time (24-Hour): Displays the current time.
- Meals Per Day (1-4): Shows the number of meals scheduled per day.
- MEAL SIZE: Displays the portion size for the current meal.
- Portions Per Meal (1-9): Indicates the number of portions per meal.
- No Battery / Power Shortage: Indicates power issue.
- Battery Powered: Shows the feeder is running on batteries.
- USB Powered: Shows the feeder is running on USB power.
Control Panel
- Increase (➕): Press to increase time, meal, or portion. Hold for 3s to clear feeding schedule.
- Decrease (➖): Press to decrease time, meal, or portion.
- Settings (⚙️): Press once to enter settings. Press again to confirm during setting.
- Feed (▶️): Press once to dispense one portion. Press repeatedly to dispense more.
- Unlock (?): Hold for 5s until a beep to unlock. Auto-locks after 5 mins of inactivity.

Setting Up
Follow these steps to set up your pet feeder:
- Remove the feeder from its package. Take out lid, bowl, bowl holder and all other accessories.
- Plug in the included USB-C cable. Install 4 AA batteries (not included) for back-up power in case of a power outage.
- Situate the bowl holder on the buckle underneath the food outlet. Place the bowl in the bowl holder.
- Place the hopper on the base by aligning the front notch. Rotate the dispenser rotor to properly situate the hopper in place.
- Add proper amount of dry pet food (5-12mm / 0.2-0.47 inch). Make sure food is level.
- Rotate clockwise to open the desiccant box. Place desiccant bag in and rotate to lock the box.
- Align and cap the hopper lid back. Twist clockwise to CLOSE position to lock in place.
- Plug in the included power adapter. Hold ? for 5s until a beep is heard to unlock. The feeder is ready for use.
Setting Automatic Feeding Schedule
Note: Hold ? for 5s to unlock the control panel before use.
Follow these steps to set the feeding schedule:
- Press once to set current time first. Press ➕ or ➖ to adjust the hour.
- Press once to confirm and move to minute setting. Press ➕ or ➖ to adjust the minute.
- Press once to confirm and move to meal setting (MEAL flashes). Press ➕ or ➖ to set the meals (1-4) per day.
- Press once to confirm, then press ➕ or ➖ to set the feeding hour for meal 1.
- Press once to confirm and move to minute setting. Press ➕ or ➖ to adjust the minute.
- Press once to confirm and move to portion setting. Press ➕ or ➖ to set the portion (1-9) for meal 1, then press to confirm. Repeat for the rest meals. Once all meals are successfully set, a beep will be heard.
Additional Features
Manual Feeding
- Hold ? for 5s to unlock the control panel.
- Press ▶️ once to dispense one portion of food. Press repeatedly to dispense more.
Clearing Feeding Schedule
- Hold ? for 5s to unlock the control panel.
- Hold ? and ➕ simultaneously for 3s until a beep is heard to clear the feeding schedule.
Train Your Pet to Use the Feeder
- Location is Key: Place the feeder next to the current food bowl(s). Set it up, and use the Feed button to dispense some familiar food. Give your pets a day or two to explore.
- Introduce Automatic Feeding: Once you notice that your pet has eaten from the feeder, press the Feed button while your pet is in the room with you so it can observe the food dispensing and become familiar with the sound while you are there to reassure them.
- Set Automatic Feeding Schedule: Take away the old food bowls and set automatic feeding schedule. For the next few days, keep an eye on your pet and the feeder to confirm that your pet is eating comfortably from the unit.
Care and Cleaning
- Always air dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling for next use.
- Clean the feeder at least once a month. Best time to clean is when the hopper and bowl are already empty.
- Lift to remove the bowl and holder. Hold with both hands to remove the hopper.
- Twist to OPEN position to open the lid. Take out the desiccant bag.
- Rinse clean the lid, hopper, bowl and bowl holder. Dry thoroughly before reassembling.
- Wipe the base with a soft and damp cloth. Do not rinse or immerse in water.
Troubleshooting

Q: Display screen or control panel is not responsive.
A: Check if the pet feeder is properly powered. Make sure the control panel is not locked (unlock first by holding ? for 5s). It will auto-lock after 5 minutes of inactivity.
Q: Food does not come out.
A: Ensure dry food is 5-12mm in diameter. Check hopper installation and rotor alignment. Ensure the rotor is not jammed and the food outlet is not blocked. Verify power connection.
Q: How often should I feed my cat or dog?
A: Depends on pet's needs, age, health, and lifestyle. Kittens (up to 6 months) may need 3 meals/day. Cats (over 6 months) usually do well with 2 meals/day. Dogs should eat at least 2 meals/day, about 12 hours apart.
Warranty and Service
MeoWant Automatic Pet Feeder is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of original purchase.
Warranty does NOT apply in cases of:
- Accident, misuse, or repairs by unauthorized personnel.
- Tampered unit or use for commercial purposes.
- Normal wear and tear of wearable parts.
- Use of force, damage from external influences.
- Damage due to non-observance of the User Manual (e.g., unsuitable power supply, not following instructions).
- Partially or completely dismantled appliances.
- Defects caused by shipping, repairs, service, or alterations by unauthorized personnel.
After-sales service is provided only for products sold by MeoWant or authorized retailers/distributors. Contact your seller for returns and warranty issues.
