Product Overview
The IKEA SKOTAT cord extension set provides convenient power distribution and USB-C charging capabilities. It features a 1.8-meter cable and two USB-C ports, supporting fast charging technologies.
Important Information & Warnings

Installation Guide
The SKOTAT can be mounted under a desk or on a shelf for convenient access.
- Attach the two mounting clips to the product. [Detail view] shows a fastener being rotated to secure it.
- Mark two mounting points on the desired surface, spaced 180 mm (7") apart. [Information] indicates to use the approved screw type; an incompatible screw type is shown crossed out.
- Mount the product by attaching it to the surface using the previously attached clips. Two mounting points are used.
USB-C Outlet Features
- Charges up to 2 devices simultaneously.
- Output power per USB-C outlet:
- One USB-C outlet in use: Max 45.0W
- Two USB-C outlets in use: Max 22.0W per port
- Compatibility: Supports Power Delivery (PD 3.0), Quick Charge (QC4+), and Programmable Power Supply (PPS).
- Supports fast charging for phones and tablets, and can also charge most laptops. The charging speed is determined by the connected device.
- Built-in safety features protect against short-circuiting, overheating, and overloading.
Usage Instructions
Connect the product to a wall socket. Insert a USB-C cable into a free USB-C outlet on the product and the other end into the device you want to charge or power.
NOTE: USB-C cable is not included.
Care Instructions
To clean the product, unplug it from the power source and wipe with a dry cloth.
Good to Know
- USB cable length and quality influence charging speed and performance.
- Devices may get warm during charging; this is normal and they will gradually cool down after charging is complete.
- Operating temperatures: 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).
- Unplug the extension cord from the power source when not in use.
