- Do not store materials other than manufacturer-recommended accessories in the appliance when not in use.
- Do not place paper, cardboard, plastic, or similar materials in the appliance.
- Do not cover the cooking basket or any part of the MAXX Air Fryer with metal foil, as this causes overheating.

Getting Started
Polarized Plug Instructions
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other) for reduced shock risk. It fits into a polarized outlet one way only. If it doesn't fit, reverse it. If it still doesn't fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug.
Short Cord Instructions
A short power cord reduces hazards from entanglement or tripping. Extension cords may be used with care:
- The extension cord's electrical rating must be at least that of the appliance. A low rating can cause overheating and fire.
- Ensure the extended cord does not drape over countertops or tables where it can be pulled by children or tripped over.
Before the First Use
- Unpack the appliance. Wash the basket and trivet in hot, soapy water and dry them. Wipe the interior of the frying cavity with a damp cloth or sponge, then dry with a paper towel. Ensure the cavity is dry before operation.
- Position the MAXX Air Fryer on a flat, level, heat-resistant surface, at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from surrounding objects.
- It is recommended to preheat the MAXX Air Fryer for about 20 minutes without food to eliminate manufacturing grease and the "new" appliance smell. Ventilate the room during this period. Slight smoke or odor during the first use is normal.
Using Your MAXX Air Fryer
Control Panel
The control panel features a digital display and controls:
- 1. Time/Temperature Button: Use to select and adjust cooking time and temperature before or during cooking.
- 2. Start/Stop Button: Press to start or stop the cooking process. Press after selecting a preset or adjusting settings to begin. Press again to stop at any time.
- 3. Dial: Navigate presets and adjust time/temperature. Turn left to decrease, right to increase. Time adjusts in 1-minute increments, temperature in 5°F increments.
Preparing for Use
- Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal, and level surface that is heat-resistant and at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from surrounding objects.
- If using the trivet, ensure it is securely placed inside the basket. Use the trivet handle for easy insertion or removal.
- Insert the power plug into a wall socket.
Caution:
- Do not fill the basket with oil or other liquids, as this may cause a fire hazard.
- Never use the MAXX Air Fryer without the food basket in place.
- Keep all ingredients in the basket to prevent contact with heating elements. Do not overfill.
- Do not cover air inlets or outlets while the appliance is in use.
- Do not touch the inside of the appliance while operating.
- Never immerse the unit's housing in water or rinse it under the tap.
- Do not use metal utensils inside the basket, as this may damage the non-stick coating.
Basket and Trivet
Your MAXX Air Fryer includes a basket and a double-layer non-stick coated trivet for performance and durability. The trivet allows optimal hot air circulation for crispy results and is used for air frying, reheating, or achieving golden-brown foods. Oven-safe containers can be placed on the trivet. The basket can also be used alone for versatility.

- If dividing cooking time into phases for shaking, set the timer to half the required time.
- If the timer is set for the full cooking time, it will not stop until cooking is complete. You can pull the basket out to check food; the unit pauses and resumes automatically.
- When the timer beeps (5 beeps) and "End" displays, remove the basket using oven mitts and the handle, placing it on a heat-resistant surface.

- Empty food into a bowl or plate using the basket handle.
- Use tongs with heat-resistant plastic tips for large or fragile ingredients to avoid scratching the basket coating.
- The air fryer is ready for the next batch immediately.
IMPORTANT: If the fan is not operating (no noise or airflow), discontinue use and contact Customer Service.

Settings
The following table helps select basic settings for ingredients. Quantities suggested are for single layers. These are suggestions only.
Tips for Best Results
- Any food prepared in a traditional oven can be made in the Kalorik MAXX Air Fryer.
- Shaking smaller ingredients halfway through cooking improves results and prevents uneven frying.
- Larger quantities may require slightly longer cooking times; smaller quantities may require slightly shorter times.
- Use cooking oil spray if food tends to stick to the basket.
- Avoid very greasy ingredients like sausages, as the grease could cause a fire.
- Add a little oil to fresh potatoes for crispier results. Fry within minutes of adding oil.
- Optimal potato quantity for fries is 500 grams / 1.2 lbs.
- Use pre-made dough for quick, filled snacks; it requires less cooking time than homemade dough.
- Place a baking tin or oven dish in the basket for cakes, quiches, or fragile/filled ingredients.
- Reheat food by setting the temperature to 290°F for 10 minutes.
