Product Description
The 18U rack is designed for housing passive or active equipment, providing a visible and protected environment within a secure steel structure with a lock. It is compatible with fiber optic, data, and coaxial cabling installations, allowing for the consolidation of different technologies within the same cabinet. The rack features depth-adjustable side profiles for installing various types of panels or equipment.
It includes a reversible and removable front and rear door with flexible latches, facilitating easier access to the rack. The tempered glass front door allows for monitoring the status of devices without opening the rack. Additionally, it has removable side panels with a push-button mechanism for accessing the interior of the rack from the sides, which is advantageous for configuring rear connections.
Designed for floor installation, the rack includes 4 adjustable feet (45-80mm height adjustment) to accommodate uneven or inclined surfaces.

Rack Compatibility and Ventilation
Televes racks allow for natural convection heat transfer, but in many cases, this is insufficient. High temperatures can affect the performance of equipment and connections. Therefore, Televes recommends installing a forced ventilation system. Televes fans are designed for top rack installation, utilizing the upward flow of hot air.
