Overview
The Murideo MU-STIX-A is a compact, thumb-drive-sized HDMI pattern analyzer designed for the Murideo STIX Ecosystem, a platform for large-deployment evaluation. It is also suitable for light-duty, in-field pass/fail signal transmission verification. The MU-STIX-A analyzes video test patterns across a wide range of resolutions, from 720p/60 fps up to 8K/60 fps, including 4K/120 fps High Frame Rate. In standalone operation, a mini OLED screen displays crucial information such as the selected source, resolution, bit rate, color space, and FRL version of TDMS. The STIX Ecosystem, which includes the MU-STIX-A, facilitates rapid and thorough in-house signal throughput confirmation before site deployment, ensuring endpoint devices function correctly, respond to programming as expected, and align with system performance parameters. The onboard OLED display on the MU-STIX-A can physically verify source information parameters when connected to the HDMI output of a receiving device. This analyzer offers a convenient and cost-effective solution for commercial or residential integrators requiring simple pass/fail verification of transmission paths and display capabilities. Deploying multiple MU-STIX-As allows for system signal throughput confirmation for display-supporting electronics installed within in-wall storage enclosures, potentially reducing duplicate labor before final display mounting.

Application Diagram Description
The MU-STIX-A Application Diagram illustrates a typical system testing setup. An "Encoded AVoIP Signal" is routed into a "Network Switch" (Model AC-MXNET-SW12C). This switch then connects to an "AVoIP Decoder" (Model AC-MXNET-1G-DV2). The decoder is "Directly Connected" to the "MU-STIX-A HDMI Analyzer". The diagram also indicates a "Signal Path" flowing towards "Ethernet".

Benefits
- Low-Cost, Flexible Analyzer: Verify common output timings used by HDMI-based entertainment sources at low cost. Sources can be MU-STIX-G generated or in-field from installation source devices. Additional signal-related information is also captured and displayed on the MU-STIX-A OLED screen, or when a part of the STIX Ecosystem, virtually on the MU-STIX-CTL GUI.
- Analyzes Seven Common Signal Timings: 720p and 1080p @ 60 fps, 4K @ 30 fps, 60 fps, and 120 fps, and 8K 30 fps.
- Displays Additional Source Information: 8-, 10-, and 12-bit color depth is detected and displayed, along with RGB, 4:2:0, 4:2:2, and 4:4:4 color spaces.
- Ultra-Compact Form Factor: The HDMI headshell-sized footprint enables easy connectivity in tight spaces after racks are built. It can also be conveniently stored with tools or in a computer bag for any time troubleshooting.
- Integral Component of the STIX Ecosystem: The STIX Ecosystem allows for asymmetrical scalability for MU-STIX-G deployment in end-to-end testing scenarios.
