What's in the Box

Your JBL Free II package typically includes:

How to Wear

For a secure and comfortable fit, select the ear tip size (S, M, L) that best suits your ear. Insert the earbuds gently into your ears and twist slightly to ensure they are snug and stable.

First Time Use

Ensure both earbuds and the charging case are charged before first use. Follow the pairing instructions below.

Power On & Connect

To Power On: Remove earbuds from the charging case. They will automatically power on.

To Connect:

Open your device's Bluetooth settings.
Select "JBL FREE II" from the list of available devices.
For Android 6.0+ devices: You may see a prompt for Fast Pair. Tap to pair. The device will be linked to your Google Account.

Dual Connect

You can use either the left or right earbud independently, or use both together for a stereo experience. The earbuds automatically switch between stereo and mono modes.

Power Off

To power off, simply place the earbuds back into the charging case. They will automatically turn off and begin charging.

Manual Controls

Power On & Connect to Device: Press and hold the button on each earbud for 5 seconds.

Reconnecting Left & Right Earbuds: If the earbuds lose connection with each other, place them in the charging case for a few seconds, then remove them again.

Power On: Press and hold the button for 5 seconds.

Power Off: Press and hold the button for 2 seconds.

Button Command

In Stereo Mode:

Single Press (x1): Play/Pause music, Answer/End call.
Double Press (x2): Activate Siri, Google Assistant, or Bixby.

In Mono Mode:

Single Press (x1): Play/Pause music, Answer/End call.
Double Press (x2): Activate Siri, Google Assistant, or Bixby.

Seamless Automatic Switch: The earbuds automatically switch between stereo and mono modes when one is removed or placed back in the case.

Charging

Place the earbuds in the charging case. The case will charge the earbuds. Connect the charging case to a power source using the provided USB cable to charge the case itself.

LED Behaviors

Power On: LED lights up.
BT Connecting: LED flashes.
BT Connected: LED is solid.
Low Battery: LED flashes red.
Charging: LED is solid red.
Fully Charged: LED turns off.
