Body Mass Index (BMI)

BMI is a number used to evaluate body weight. The formulas are:

BMI = body weight (Kg) / (height(m))^2

BMI = body weight (lb) * 703 / (height(in))^2

Recommended Measurement Time

For accurate readings, measure at the same time of day and in the same environment. Avoid measurements:

  • Immediately after a bath or exercise.
  • After drinking alcohol or a large amount of water.
  • Less than 2 hours after a meal.

Measurements taken under these conditions may show significant differences due to changes in body water content.

Understanding Your Displayed Result

Once a stable value is obtained, the reading will flash three times, then calculate your BMI.

Displayed Result Components:

  • 1 Personal Profile Number
  • 2 Gender (e.g., Male)
  • 3 Volume Indicator
  • 4 Your Weight
  • 5 Weight Unit (lb/kg)
  • 6 BMI Symbol
  • 7 Your BMI

After viewing results, step off the platform. The result is saved to memory and the scale enters 4G connection mode.

4G Signal Indicator

The indicator flashes during transmission. Three bars show signal quality:

  • 1 bar: weak
  • 3 bars: good

Solid bars mean 4G transmission is established. The scale turns off automatically after transmission or 3 minutes of inactivity.

Poor Signal: If signal quality is poor, move the scale to a location with better reception. Ensure it's not near devices that might interrupt the signal (microwaves, mobile devices).

Scale Memory

The scale stores up to 135 measurements for each of the 5 personal profiles. These results can be transmitted to a mobile device via 4G connection for review.

Maintenance

Battery

The scale uses one 3.7V Lithium-ion rechargeable battery.

Low Battery Signal: A message will appear when the battery is low, indicating it's time to charge.

Recharging the Battery

Use a USB adapter and a USB Type-C cable.

  1. Connect the USB adapter and USB Type-C cable to the scale.
  2. Plug the USB adapter into an electrical outlet. The battery indication light should turn red/orange.
  3. When the light turns green, the battery is fully charged. Remove the adapter and cable.

WARNING:

  • TD-2555G can ONLY use one 3.7V Lithium-ion rechargeable battery.
  • Installing incorrect battery types may cause explosions.
  • A USB adapter is NOT included. Ensure you have one before charging.
