It takes effect after 3 seconds. Long press for 3 seconds: enable/disable Child Lock. Fan/WiFI: Single touch: switch between auto and always-on mode. In auto mode, fan turns on with HVAC system activation and off when HVAC system is off. In always-on mode, fan remains on even when HVAC system mode is off, maintaining indoor air circulation. 5 Long press for 3 seconds: thermostat enters pairing mode, indicated by blinking WiFi icon. Scene/Hold: Single touch: switch between preset scenes (Home, Away, Sleep). Scene modes and temperature adjustments should be changed in the app. Long press for 3 seconds: enable/disable the Hold mode. Note: Current mode and temperature settings will not be affected by slider adjustments or schedule changes until the Holding time expires. Holding time defaults to 1 hour. Please adjust settings in the app. Schedule/Switch: Single touch: enable/disable schedule. When enabled, thermostat adjusts automatically according to the set schedule. Note: Schedule is initially empty upon first use and needs to be configured in the app. Long press for 3 seconds: enter OFF mode for the HVAC system; Simultaneously, the thermostat switches off. Long press for another 3 seconds to restart the thermostat (remains in OFF mode) 6 A - Time Display: When connected to the app, the thermostat time automatically synchronizes with the app's system time. S - Heating Temperature Setting: Slide the slider to set the target temperature for heat mode. T - Cooling Temperature Setting: Slide the slider to set the target temperature for cool mode. P - Humidity: Displays the current humidity. If paired with a Provirtec smart thermo-hygrometer, it shows the Provirtec sensor's reading. Q - BT Status: The icon lights up when BT is connected; it turns off when BT is disconnected. R - WiFi Status: The WiFi icon blinks when in pairing mode; it stays solid when connected. If WiFi is not enabled, the icon remains off. M - Holding status: Hold mode is active when the icon is lit. 7 N/O - Current HVAC Mode (Cooling/Heating): Due to HVAC mode switching for system protection, the HVAC system completes the current cycle before switching modes. This may result in a temporary inconsistency between set and operating modes, typically lasting up to 3 minutes. Please wait for 3 minutes for synchronization. Tips: a. Time display, Scene mode, Hold duration, schedule, and binding of thermhygrometer require initial setup and connection to the thermostat via the app. b. When connected to the app, you can choose between WiFi or BT connection modes. WiFi is suitable for remote control, while BT is suitable for local control within the home (up to 80m/262ft). c. Auto mode requires sequential setting of heating and cooling temperatures. Slide the slider set the heating temperature; After 3 seconds, slide it again to set the cooling temperature, repeating this cycle as needed. d. The Provirtec smart thermo-hygrometer connects to the thermostat via BT with a range of up to 80m/262ft. Its data collection is not affected by the thermostat's WiFi network. 8 5. How to Use 1) Mode Settings When the current temperature is higher than the set value, activate the cool mode. When the current temperature drops below the set point, turn on the heat mode. Turn on the heating or cooling system as needed to keep your home within the configured setting range. The HVAC system system supports auxiliary heating to maintain the set temperature. Turn off the HVAC system system to stop cooling or heating. 2) Examples of Use Heat Mode: 68°F a. Tap , choose , after 3 seconds, it will automatically enter to the heat mode. b. Slider the slider to set the heating temperature to 68°F, it takes effect 3 seconds later. 9 Auto Mode: 68°F-86°F a. Tap , choose , after 3 seconds, it will automatically enter to the Auto mode. b. In auto mode, you need to set the heating temperature and cooling temperature in turn. Slide the slider to set the heating temperature, and confirm the heating temperature after 3 seconds. You can slide the slider again to set the cooling temperature, after 3 seconds, complete the setting. 3) Deadband Temperature a. To prevent frequent switching of the HVAC system and ensure precise temperature control, you can set the deadband temperature via the app. The available temperatures are ±0.3°C/0.5°F, ±0.5°C/1°F, ±0.8°C/1.5°F, and ±1°C/2°F. b. The default setting is 0.5°C/1°F. For example, if the cooling temperature is set to 68°F, the HVAC system will stop cooling when the current temperature is 67°F and will start cooling when the temperature 69°F. c. Note: To avoid frequent switching of the HVAC system, which can impact its lifespan, it is recommended to set the deadband temperature to above 1°F. 10 6. Q&A 1. HVAC system control failure or abnormal hot and cold control. Please ensure correct wiring connections. Incorrect or abnormal wiring may cause control issues. 2. How to set Schedules, Scenes, and Hold time? Please download the "Prodigytec" app, follow the instructions to connect the thermostat, and set these features through the app. 3. Unable to adjust mode or temperature via touch. Please check if Child Lock or Hold mode is enabled. Operations are disabled under Child Lock, and adjusting the set temperature is ineffective under Hold mode. 4. Unable to connect to WiFi. Ensure you are using a 2.4 GHz network. When connecting, position the thermostat as close as possible to the router. 5. WiFi disconnection: can TempMaster smart thermostat still operate Yes, you can adjust the temperature directly on the thermostat, ensuring normal operation. You can also adjust it locally via BT on your phone within an up to 80m/262ft range. 11 For remote access, wait for the network to reconnect; the thermostat will automatically reconnect to WiFi. 6. WiFi disconnection: can an independent thermohygrometer still transmit data to the thermostat? Yes, an independent thermohygrometer uses BT locally to send collected temperature and humidity data to the thermostat, independent of the thermostat's Wi-Fi connection. This thermohygrometer accurately captures your perceived temperature to ensure precise adjustment, preventing inaccuracies in indoor temperature control due to distance from the thermostat. 7. How to Pair and Unpair the Thermo-Hygrometer When Using the Thermostat a. Follow the steps to add the Provirtec smart thermo-hygrometer to the Prodigytec app. b. Similarly, follow the steps to add the TempMaster smart thermostat to the Prodigytec app. c. Open the homepage of the TempMaster smart thermostat or settings page, and follow the steps to pair the thermo-hygrometer. 12 d. To unpair, in the Prodigytec APP under the TempMaster smart thermo-hygrometer settings page, delete the smart thermo-hygrometer. The thermostat will then revert to monitoring using its built-in thermohygrometer. 7. Notice FCC Statement This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
