Installation Clearances
Diagrams illustrate required clearances for proper installation and operation. These include space around the unit for ventilation and door swing.
Ventilation and Door Swing Clearances:
- Clearance from side wall for door swing: To allow the door to swing open, a minimum of 33⁄4" (95 mm) is required between the refrigerator and a fixed wall.
- Full door swing clearance: To allow for full door swing (enabling crisper and pantry drawer extension and removal for cleaning), a space of 14" (355 mm) between the refrigerator and the wall is needed.
- Door opening angles: The diagrams show door openings at 90° and 135°.
- Depth with doors open 90° (K): 49" (1245.2 mm).
- Width of door fully open 135° (L): 14" (354.9 mm).
- Depth with drawer open (Q): 5511⁄16" (1414.7 mm).
Water Line and Power Cord Locations:
- Space for water lines and power cord (M): 2" (50.8 mm) is required behind the refrigerator.
- Water line location distance from side (N): 33⁄8" (86.2 mm).

Electrical Supply: A 115 V, 60 Hz AC, 15 A or 20 A fused, grounded electrical supply is required. A separate circuit serving only the refrigerator is recommended. Use an outlet that cannot be turned off by a switch. Do not use an extension cord.
Water Supply: A cold water supply with water pressure between 20 psi and 120 psi (138 kPa and 827 kPa) is required for the water dispenser and ice maker. Consult a licensed, qualified plumber if you have questions about your water pressure.
Location Requirements

Failure to do so can result in death, explosion, or fire.
Ventilation Clearances:
- Allow for a 1/2" (12.5 mm) space on each side and at the top for proper ventilation.
- Allow for a 2" (50.8 mm) space behind the refrigerator.
- If your refrigerator has an ice maker, allow extra space at the back for water line connections.
- When installing next to a fixed wall, leave a minimum space of 33⁄4" (95 mm) between the refrigerator and the wall to allow the door to swing open.
Note: For optimal performance and reduced electricity usage, the preferred room temperature range is between 60°F (15.6°C) and 90°F (32°C). Avoid installing near heat sources like ovens or radiators.
This refrigerator is intended for use in locations where the temperature ranges from a minimum of 50°F (10°C) to a maximum of 110°F (43°C).
