Product Overview
The Kensington Presenter Expert is a green laser presenter designed for cursor control during presentations. It offers wireless connectivity and intuitive controls.
Getting Started
Insert Batteries
Open the presenter and insert the required AAA batteries.
Connect Receiver
Plug the USB receiver into a USB port on your computer. The presenter will automatically connect.
Features and Operation
Wireless Range: Up to 150 feet (50 meters).
Compatibility: Works with Windows and Mac operating systems.
LED Indicator
- Laser On: LED lights green.
- Low Battery: LED blinks red.
Button Functions
Presentation Mode:
- Joystick: Controls the cursor. Pressing it acts as a left mouse button.
- Previous Button: Navigate to the previous slide.
- Next Button: Navigate to the next slide.
- Black Screen Button: Toggles the screen to black.
Mouse Mode:
- Joystick: Controls the cursor. Pressing it acts as a left mouse button.
- Left-Click Button: Performs a left mouse click.
- Right-Click Button: Performs a right mouse click.
- Center-Click Button (Scroll): Functions as a scroll wheel or center mouse click.
Button Backlight: The backlight turns off after 3 minutes of inactivity.
Important Safety Instructions
Laser Safety:
- Never shine the laser pointer into a person's or animal's eyes, or stare directly into the laser beam. This can cause temporary vision impairment or damage.
- Laser pointers are intended for illustrating inanimate objects only.
- Do not point the laser pointer at reflective surfaces, as a reflected beam can be hazardous.
- Laser pointers are not toys. Keep them away from children and do not allow unsupervised use by minors.
- Ensure compliance with local laws regarding laser pointer use.
