Key Operational Aspects
Unrivalled Accuracy in Any Position, For Any Flow
Leveraging a volumetric rotary piston measurement principle, the V110 KSM range achieves high reading accuracy even at the lowest flow rates. The meter can be installed horizontally, vertically, or on inclined pipelines without compromising performance or accuracy.
Note: The 20mm (114) model is approved to Class D accuracy (available on request).
Robust, Leak-Proof Construction
Advanced engineering plastics are used for the meter's measuring chamber, significantly reducing wear and ensuring reliable, accurate measurement under all operating conditions. A large surface area strainer collects solid particles, preventing damage. Its design ensures that partial strainer obstruction does not affect registration accuracy. A body ring seal between the measuring chamber and meter body prevents internal leaks that could bypass the chamber.
Easy to Read
The all-in-one counter and gear unit is fully sealed and liquid-filled under vacuum, offering a simple, straight-reading presentation. Number rollers are immersed in a lubricating, non-toxic liquid. A sac attached to the counter casing acts as a balancing membrane, equalizing internal and external water pressure. The counter window is positioned within the meter body, aligned with the flow direction for simplified reading.
Tamperproof Operation
The V110 KSM offers superior resistance to illegal tampering. Its unique conical body-half design prevents disassembly during service. The mechanically driven cyclometer-type counter is resistant to magnetic interference. A non-return valve further protects against interference, preventing operation in the reverse direction to reduce readings. This restrictor can only be removed by opening the meter and destroying the seal.

15mm V110 KSM Polymer Water Meter: This semi-positive rotary piston type meter is 114mm long and features a non-return valve. It is equipped with a straight-reading counter and provides one pulse per 1/2 litre output, registering in m³. It is approved under the Trade Metrology Act and Regulations and meets SANS 1529-1: 2006 Class C specifications.
Warranty
All goods are tested and inspected prior to dispatch. In the event of defects resulting from faulty workmanship or materials, such goods will be replaced/repaired at the manufacturer's discretion, free of charge at the factory. No responsibility will be accepted for any direct or consequential damage.
This warranty covers the malfunction of a correctly installed item due to a manufacturing fault but does not cover wear and tear considered normal at the locality of installation. The polymer meter warranty is 3 years from the date of manufacture.
Note: An alternative warranty states polymer meter warranty is 12 months from the date of delivery, which shall be the date on the invoice.
