Yealink T33G Phone Overview

The Yealink T33G is a desk phone designed for business communication. The device features a screen, a numeric keypad, and several dedicated function keys. The phone's key components are labeled as follows:

  • Line keys: Enable selection of a phone line, viewing calls on a line, or quick dialing of a favorite contact.
  • Soft keys: Context-sensitive keys displayed along the bottom of the screen, adapting their function to the current operation.
  • Navigation keys: Used to scroll through information and options displayed on the phone screen.
  • Voicemail key: Provides access to voicemail messages.
  • Headset key: Allows placing and receiving calls using a headset [headset].
  • Speakerphone key: Allows placing and receiving calls using the speakerphone [speakerphone].
  • Redial key: Dials the last called number or extension.
  • Transfer key: Used to transfer an active call to another contact.
  • Mute/Unmute key: Mutes or unmutes audio during calls and conferences.
  • Volume keys: Adjust the volume of the handset, headset, and speaker.

Key Operations

Placing a Call

To place a call, dial the number and then:

  • Lift the receiver.
  • Press the Headset key [headset] to use the headset.
  • Press the Speakerphone key [speakerphone] to use the speakerphone.

Answering a Call

When a call is incoming, choose one of the following options:

  • Lift the receiver.
  • Press the Headset key [headset] to answer via headset.
  • Press the Speakerphone key [speakerphone] to answer via speakerphone.

Placing a Call on Hold

While on an active call, press the Hold soft key or dial ##.

Retrieving a Held Call

To retrieve a held call, press the Resume soft key or dial ##.

Starting a Three-Way Call

  1. While on an active call, press the Conf soft key.
  2. Dial the extension of the other party you wish to add.
  3. Once the other party answers, press the Conf soft key again to merge the two calls.

Transferring a Call

Warm Transfer:

  1. While on an active call, press the Transfer soft key or the corresponding key.
  2. Dial the number of the other party.
  3. When the destination party answers, provide the necessary information and confirm they are ready to take the call.
  4. Press the Transfer soft key again.

Blind Transfer:

  1. While on an active call, press the Transfer soft key or the corresponding key.
  2. Press the Blind soft key.
  3. Dial the extension of the other party.
  4. Press the Transfer soft key again.

Voicemail Transfer:

  1. Press the Transfer soft key or the corresponding key.
  2. Press the Blind soft key.
  3. Dial *0 followed by the extension number of the voicemail where you want to transfer the call.

Additional Features

Parking a Call

Option 1:

  1. While on an active call, press the More soft key until the Park soft key is displayed.
  2. Press the Park soft key.
  3. Listen for a prompt indicating the call has been parked and the extension where it is located (e.g., *802).
  4. Note the park location.

Option 2:

  1. While on an active call, press ##*3.
  2. Listen for a prompt indicating the call has been parked and the extension where it is located (e.g., *802).
  3. Note the park location.

Retrieving a Parked Call

To retrieve a parked call, press * followed by the park location extension (e.g., *802).

Paging

To initiate a page, press *84 and follow the prompts.

Initiating an Intercom Call

To initiate an intercom call, press *85 and follow the prompts.

Hot Desking

  • Press the Login soft key and follow the on-screen prompts.
  • Enter your extension number, then press #.
  • Enter your voicemail PIN, then press #.

Recording a Call

  • While on an active call, press *9 to start the recording.
  • Press *9 to end the recording.
