Single-Speed Electronic Drive Selector

As the motor is an all-electric single-speed drive unit, there is no need for multiple gears. Instead, the shifter lets the driver select from:

• Park
• Reverse
• Neutral
• Drive
• Braking (for increased regenerative braking)

Drive Mode Selector

The driver can determine the driving style by selecting one of the following modes:

• Normal: for a balanced drive that offers a compromise between performance and energy efficiency.
• Sport: for a dynamic drive with a responsive throttle and the highest top speed and torque.
• ECO: for maximum range and energy efficiency. The ECO mode deactivates all unnecessary energy-consuming features and reduces the top speed, torque and overall performance.

Charging

The New Grandland Electric is fitted with an 11kW on-board charger and a Mode 3 cable as standard. Additional charging accessories are available at extra cost. The charging flap's Padlock LED lights up when the cable is correctly plugged in and locked, acting as a user interface to show charging status via coloured LED lights:

• White: welcome light.
• Flashing green: charging in progress.
• Solid green: charging complete.
• Solid blue: delayed charging toggled; changes to flashing green when charging commences.
• Solid red: malfunction.

The driver can choose from two charging settings:

• Immediate charging: Starts charging as soon as the vehicle is docked.
• Delayed charging: Allows charging to start at a specific time, useful for cheaper electric rates.

Note: EV range assumes the vehicle has been pre-conditioned prior to journey, accessible via MyVauxhall App or the infotainment system.

Hybrid e-DCT auto: A 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with a six-speed dual clutch automatic transmission and a 28hp electric motor. The permanent magnet synchronous electric motor is integrated into the gearbox and produces peak power of 21kW (28hp) and maximum torque of 55Nm. During deceleration, the petrol engine stops and the e-motor acts as a generator to recharge the hybrid system's 48v battery. Under low torque requirements, the e-motor allows short distances to be driven on electric power alone (e.g., when manoeuvring or under 18mph in city traffic). It also assists the petrol engine under acceleration.

Benefit in Kind Company Car Taxation*

The car benefit charge is calculated by multiplying the car's list price (including VAT, options, accessories, delivery, and number plates, but excluding VED and first registration fee) by the percentage charge for the CO₂ emissions band. This figure, multiplied by your personal income tax rate (20% for Basic Rate, 40% for Higher Rate), determines your annual benefit in kind tax liability.

Vehicle Excise Duty+

The amount of Vehicle Excise Duty payable on new cars varies depending on CO₂ emissions (g/km). A 'first year rate' is payable on all new cars, reverting to a different rate in subsequent years.

Expensive Car Supplement

Vehicles registered on or after 1 April 2025 with a list price over £40,000 (including factory-fitted options) will attract the standard VED rate plus the Expensive Car Supplement for five years, starting from the second license year. This includes electric/zero emission vehicles.

Vauxhall publishes on-the-road recommended retail prices (RRP) which include VAT, number plates, and delivery to Retailer (£900.00 including £150.00 VAT), 12 months' Vehicle Excise Duty, and the DVLA new vehicle first registration fee (£55.00).* These prices do not include fuel, motor insurance, or other goods/services agreed between the Retailer and customer.

Price Protection

Orders for new Vauxhalls placed for build in the current model year for delivery within three months are protected against price increases, except for changes in VAT, VED, or DVLA fees due to government legislation.
