Setting up the Face Mask Function
For a Camera-only System

The following guide enables you to set up the Face Mask Detection Function

on

(Series 3) and

(Series 5 & 7) camera-only systems.

NB: The firmware version is based on the latest version when this document was created and may slightly differ from future versions,
however this will not affect any of the functions.

TiOC HOW TO GUIDE | Setting up the Face Mask Function Step 1: Log in to the camera, go to Setting > Event > Smart Plan , click Face Detection to activate the function and click Save .

Step 2: Go to Setting > Event > Face Detection , tick the Enable check box on the top right hand corner to enable the function.
By default the detection area will be set to full screen, if you wish to change the detection area, click Clear button first and then Click Draw button on the left hand side and draw inside live preview the shape of the target area for face detection and set the parameters.
Click Save at the bottom right hand corner to complete.

TiOC HOW TO GUIDE | Setting up the Face Mask Function Step 3: To check the face detection alarm record details click Alarm in the top right hand corner and tick IVS under the Alarm Type .
NB: The alarm records will not be kept after logging out. To check if the alarm function is still operating normally
once logged out, please trigger another alarm.
