Installing the Wall Mount
Installation Precautions
- Install only on a vertical wall.
- Do not install in locations with high temperature or humidity.
- Ensure the wall is strong enough to support the product's weight. If not, reinforce the wall or select a different installation point.
- Use fixing screws or anchors appropriate for your wall type (plaster board, iron board, wood, etc.). If possible, secure the support screws into wall studs.
- Purchase wall mounting screws suitable for the type and thickness of your wall. Recommended specifications: Diameter: M5, Length: 1 3/8 inches (35 mm) or longer.
- Connect cables from the unit to external devices before installing the Soundbar on the wall.
- Ensure the unit is turned off and unplugged from the power source before installation to prevent electric shock.
Components
The wall mount kit typically includes the following components:
- A: Wall Mount Template (used for marking drilling points)
- B: Wall Mount Screws (M4 x L10) - 2 pieces
- C: Screws for attaching the bracket to the soundbar - 2 pieces
- D: Wall Brackets - 2 pieces
Installation Steps
- Prepare the Wall: Use the Wall Mount Template (A) to mark the desired location on the wall. Ensure the template is level and positioned at least 2 inches (5 cm) from the top of the TV. Mark the drilling points indicated by the template.
- Install Wall Anchors/Screws: Drill holes at the marked points and insert appropriate wall anchors if necessary. Secure the Wall Brackets (D) to the wall using suitable screws (not always included in the kit, refer to precautions). The image shows screws (B) being used with a bracket.
- Attach Brackets to Soundbar: Align the Wall Brackets (D) with the mounting holes on the rear of the Soundbar. Secure the brackets to the Soundbar using the provided screws (C).
- Mount the Soundbar: Carefully lift the Soundbar and align the brackets attached to the soundbar with the corresponding mounting points on the wall. Slide the soundbar down to secure it in place. The diagram shows the bracket (D) with screw (B) engaging with the soundbar's mounting slots.
