Euromex Cameras ImageFocus Plus & ImageFocus 4

1. Software Installation

To use the Euromex cameras, you must install the application software, which is available for free download from the Euromex website (Downloads). There are functional and appearance differences between Windows and Mac versions.

1.1 Windows

Select the ImageFocus software for Windows and download it.

Important: When downloading the software from the Euromex website, please first open the file in a location on your hard drive (not on the desktop!) and then run the installation file. Right-click and select "Run as administrator". If running as administrator is not possible on your computer, please run the file by left-clicking on the file.

1.2 Mac

  • Select the ImageFocus software for Mac and download it.
  • Double-click to open the ZIP file. Double-click the DMG file.
  • Drag the IFA icon to your Applications folder.

1.3 Starting the Camera

ImageFocus detects all cameras installed on your computer and lists all camera names. Click on the camera name to activate the camera.

The complete manual is accessible in English directly from the software.

C-Mount Adapter Options

Euromex offers various c-mount adapters to connect cameras to microscopes. These adapters are designed to fit different tube sizes and microscope brands.

Standard C-mount Adapter

This adapter is designed for a standard tube size of 23.2 mm. It provides a universal connection for cameras to microscopes with this tube diameter.
