Setup Guide

KNOW YOUR PRODUCT

Identify the components of your keyboard:

  1. Easy-Switch keys / Connection key
  2. Battery status LED & ON/OFF switch (side of the keyboard)
  3. Windows layout
  4. MacOS layout
  5. Batteries + dongle compartment (keyboard bottom side)

GETTING STARTED

Connect your keyboard and mouse to your device

Choose how you want to pair your keyboard to your device. You have 2 options:

To pair through Logi Bolt receiver:

STEP 1:

Take the Logi Bolt receiver from the packaging tray that was holding your keyboard.

IMPORTANT: Don't remove the pull-tabs from your keyboard yet.

STEP 2:

Insert the receiver into any available USB port on your desktop or laptop.

STEP 3:

Now you can remove the pull-tabs from the keyboard and it will automatically turn on.

The receiver should be successfully connected to your device when the white LED on the connection key stops blinking.

STEP 4: Set the right keyboard layout for your computer operating system:

Long press for 3 seconds the following shortcuts to set it up for Windows, macOS or ChromeOS.

IMPORTANT: Windows is the default OS layout. If you are using a Windows computer you can skip this step. Your keyboard is now ready to use.

To pair through Bluetooth®:

STEP 1:

Remove the pull-tab from the keyboard and it will automatically turn on. The white LED on the keyboard connect key starts blinking.

STEP 2:

Open the Bluetooth® settings on your device. Add a new peripheral by selecting your keyboard (Wave Keys) from your list of devices. Your keyboard will be paired once the LED stops blinking.

STEP 3:

Your computer will require you to input a random set of numbers, please type them all and press the "Enter" key on your keyboard. Your keyboard is now ready to use.

DONGLE COMPARTMENT

If you are not using your Logi Bolt USB receiver, you can safely store it inside your keyboard:

STEP 1:

Remove the battery door from the bottom side of your keyboard.

STEP 2:

The dongle compartment is located next to the batteries.

STEP 3:

Place your Logi Bolt receiver in the compartment and slide it to the bottom side of the compartment to secure it tight.

Most of these keys work without the need of installing software (Logi Options+), except for:

*1 For Windows: Dictation key needs Logi Options+ App installed to work on Korean. For macOS: Dictation key needs Logi Options+ installed to work on Macbook Air M1 and 2022 Macbook Pro (M1 Pro and M1 Max chip).

*2 For Windows: Emoji key needs Logi Options+ App installed for France, Turkey, and Begium keyboard layouts.

*3 Free Logi Options+ App is required to enable the function.

*4 For macOS: Screen lock key needs Logi Options+ App installed for France keyboard layouts.

MULTI-OS KEYBOARD

Your keyboard is designed to work with multiple operating systems (OS): Windows, macOS, ChromeOS.

For Windows and macOS keyboard layout

For ChromeOS keyboard layout

If you are a Chrome user, you will find one dedicated Chrome function, Launcher key, on top of the start key. Make sure you have selected the ChromeOS layout ([Fn] + [C]) when you connect your keyboard.

BATTERY STATUS NOTIFICATION

1a.

When the battery level is between 6% to 100%, the LED color will stay green.

1b.

When the battery level is below 6% (from 5% and below), the LED will turn red. You can continue using your device for up to 1 month when the battery is low.

Note: Battery life may vary based on user and computing conditions.
