Product Overview
This guide provides instructions for setting up the D-Link DAP-X2850 Nuclias Connect Access Point.

Hardware Connections
Option 1: Power over Ethernet (PoE)
Connect the DAP-X2850 to a PoE-enabled switch using an Ethernet cable. The switch provides both data connectivity and power to the access point.

Option 2: AC Power Adapter
Connect the DAP-X2850 to a power adapter, and then connect the adapter to a power outlet. Connect the DAP-X2850 to your network using an Ethernet cable.

Installation Options
Wall Mount
Step 1: Mount the bracket to the wall using the provided screws and anchors. Ensure the bracket is securely fastened.
Step 2: Attach the DAP-X2850 to the bracket.

Initial Setup
Using the Nuclias Connect App
Step 1: Scan the QR code to download the Nuclias Connect app from the App Store or Google Play.
Step 2: Follow the in-app instructions to set up your access point. This may involve connecting to the default Wi-Fi network (SSID: dlink) and entering default credentials.

Using the Web Interface
Step 1: Connect your computer to the DAP-X2850's default Wi-Fi network or via an Ethernet cable.
Step 2: Open a web browser and navigate to http://dapx2850.local

Step 3: Log in using the default username 'admin' and password 'admin'.

Status Indicators
