This document provides essential instructions and safety information for the ORORO MINI 5K BATTERY, a portable power solution designed for ORORO heated clothing and other USB-powered devices.

Product Layout

The ORORO MINI 5K BATTERY features the following components:

• 1. Battery Check Button: Press this button to check the current battery level.
• 2. Battery Level Indicators: Four LEDs that display the remaining charge.
• 3. USB Type-A Output Port: Connect your devices here to charge them.
• 4. USB Type-C Input Port: Use this port to recharge the battery itself.
• 5. DC Output Port: Specifically designed for connecting ORORO heated clothing.

Instructions

Check the Battery Level

Press the Battery Check Button (1). The Battery Level Indicators (2) will illuminate to show the charge level:

• Four LEDs illuminated: 100% charged
• Three LEDs illuminated: 75% charged
• Two LEDs illuminated: 50% charged
• One LED illuminated: 25% charged
• LEDs flashing: The battery is currently charging.

Recharge Your Battery

Connect a compatible USB charger to the USB Type-C Input Port (4) on the battery using the provided USB charging cable. For detailed information on compatible chargers, please refer to the charger's user guide.

Power Your ORORO Heated Clothing

To power your ORORO heated clothing, connect the clothing's power cable to the DC Output Port (5) on the battery.

Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are potentially hazardous and can present a serious fire risk if damaged, defective, or used improperly. Always read and follow all safety instructions before using the battery and charger.

Temperature Guidelines

• ?️ Recommended operating temperature: 14°F to 86°F (-10°C to 30°C).
• ?️ Recommended charging temperature: 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C).

Safe Handling & Storage Practices

• ? Keep the battery away from moisture. Store the battery pack in an environment where the relative humidity is 60±15 percent.
• ? Fully charge the battery before first use.
• 6️⃣ Recharge the battery at least once every six months if it is being stored.

• ❌? DO NOT disassemble the battery pack or charger.

Things to Avoid

• DO NOT use generic or incompatible battery chargers. Using third-party chargers may shorten the battery's lifespan, cause malfunctions, or lead to a fire. ORORO is not responsible for personal safety or product damage resulting from the use of unauthorized chargers or accessories.
• DO NOT charge or use the battery in explosive atmospheres (e.g., in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust). Inserting or removing the battery from the charger may ignite dust or fumes.
• DO NOT force the charger into the battery pack.
• DO NOT disassemble, drop, or break open the battery pack or charger.
• DO NOT modify the battery pack in any way to fit into a non-compatible charger. This could cause the battery pack to rupture and may result in serious personal injury.
• DO NOT splash or immerse the battery in water or other liquids.
• DO NOT expose the battery to excessive heat or cold, as this can damage the battery, reduce charging capacity, and shorten its lifespan. Charging the battery at temperatures below freezing risks an explosion and may cause serious injury.
• DO NOT store or use the battery pack in locations where the temperature may reach or exceed 104°F (40°C).
• DO NOT store or leave the product unattended with a battery connected.
• DO NOT store the battery pack along with any other metal objects.
• DO NOT dispose of used batteries in household trash or by burning.
• DO NOT incinerate the battery pack, even if it is severely damaged or completely worn out. Lithium-ion battery packs can explode in a fire and emit toxic fumes when burned.

Fire Hazards

• When transporting individual battery packs, ensure that the battery ports are protected and well insulated from materials that could come into contact with them and cause a short circuit.
• NEVER attempt to open the battery pack for any reason.
• DO NOT insert the battery into the charger if the battery pack case is cracked or damaged.
• DO NOT crush, drop, or damage the battery pack.
• NEVER use a battery pack or charger that has received a sharp blow, has been dropped, run over, or damaged in any way (e.g., pierced with a nail, hit with a hammer, stepped on, run over by a vehicle tire, etc.).
• DO NOT store or carry the battery pack with metal objects (e.g., in aprons, pockets, tool boxes, product kit boxes, drawers, along with loose nails, screws, keys, etc.).
• NEVER place the battery pack in or on heating devices (e.g., microwave ovens, stoves, or radiators). The battery pack may explode if overheated.

Burn Hazards

• If battery acid contacts bare skin, wash it off immediately with soap and water.
• If battery acid gets into the eyes, splash eyes thoroughly with water for at least 10 minutes. Immediately seek medical attention or call your local poison control center.
• DO NOT contact any battery acid if leaking from a damaged battery pack.
• DO NOT expose the battery to a spark or flame; the liquid may be flammable.

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Warranty

• ORORO's limited warranty applies to all BRAND NEW items sold by ororowear.com and other authorized distributors.
• A ONE (1) YEAR limited warranty covers any defects and malfunctions of this product from the date of purchase.
• This warranty is non-transferable and proof of original purchase from ORORO or an authorized distributor is required for warranty service.
• Damage to parts resulting from accidental fire, flood, misuse, unauthorized service, or negligence as outlined herein will void the warranty. The warranty does not cover commercial use.
• The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product at the sole discretion of the manufacturer. The manufacturer disclaims all liability for incidental or consequential damages, whether direct or indirect.
• If warranty service is necessary, please contact ORORO customer service for instructions. Once a warranty claim is filed and approved, you may return the product with proper packaging and paid postage, along with the proof of purchase and warranty claim number issued by ORORO. Any product or part, upon examination, found to be defective, will be replaced with the same or a similar product during the warranty period.
