OHLUX Smart LED Bulb User Manual
Getting Started
This guide provides instructions for setting up and using your OHLUX Smart LED Bulb.
1. Download and Install the App
Install the "Smart Life" app by scanning the provided QR code [QR Code for App Download] or by searching for "Smart Life" in the App Store [App Store Link] or Google Play [Google Play Link].
Note: The "Tuya Smart" app can also be used to configure and control this smart LED bulb. The setup process is similar to the "Smart Life" app.
2. Register and Log In
Register and sign in to the "Smart Life" app using your mobile phone number or email address. Remember your account credentials, as they will be needed for integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Home Assistant.
3. Preparations Before Pairing
- Install the smart LED bulb securely into the socket.
- Connect your mobile device to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Ensure "Bluetooth" and "Location" functions are activated on your mobile device.
4. Connect to the "Smart Life" App
Pairing Process:
- Turn on the power switch. The smart LED bulb should flash quickly, indicating it is in connection status for approximately 3 minutes. If the bulb does not flash quickly, reset it by turning the switch OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON.
- Open the "Smart Life" app. Devices will be automatically searched and displayed. Tap "Go to add" [Add Device Button] to add the found bulb.
- If the bulb is not automatically found, tap the "+" icon [Add Icon] in the top right corner of the "Home" screen and select "Add Manually" or "Auto Scan" to search for the bulb manually.
- Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi password and tap "Next" [Next Button].
- Upon successful pairing, the smart LED bulb will stop flashing and remain steadily lit.
Notes:
- Ensure "Bluetooth" and "Location" are activated during pairing.
- Once connected to the "Smart Life" app, you can control the bulb from anywhere.
- Multiple bulbs can be paired simultaneously or one by one.
5. Control the Device via App
After successful pairing, the smart LED bulb will appear on the "Home" screen. You can control it using the "Smart Life" app for various functions, including:
- Adjusting brightness and color temperature.
- Changing colors (RGB version only).
- Setting sleep and wake-up schedules.
- Grouping multiple bulbs and sharing control with family members.
- Synchronizing with music.

6. Connect to Amazon Alexa
- Download the Amazon Alexa app from the App Store [App Store Link] or Google Play [Google Play Link].
- Sign in or register a new Amazon account.
- Pair the Alexa app with your Amazon Echo device following the Echo user manual.
- In the Alexa app, navigate to "Skills & Games" [Skills & Games Menu] from the menu.
- Search for "Smart Life" and tap "Enable to Use" to activate the skill.
- Enter your "Smart Life" app account credentials and tap "Link Now" [Link Account Button] to connect your accounts.
- You can now control the smart LED bulb using the Alexa app or voice commands, such as: "Alexa, turn on the bedroom light," "Alexa, set the living room light to blue," or "Alexa, dim the kitchen light."
7. Connect to the Google Home Assistant
- Download the Google Home app from the App Store [App Store Link] or Google Play [Google Play Link].
- Sign in or register a new Google account.
- Pair the Google Home app with your Google Home device, following the Google Home user manual.
- On the Google Home app's home page, tap "Settings" [Settings Icon] and select "Works with Google" [Works with Google Option].
- Search for "Smart Life" in the list of services.
- In the new window, select your "Smart Life" account's region, sign in, and tap "Link Now" [Link Account Button]. Assign rooms to your devices, and they will appear on the Home page.
- You can now control the smart LED bulb using the Google Home app or voice commands, such as: "OK Google, turn on the bedroom light," "OK Google, set the living room light to blue," or "OK Google, dim the kitchen light."
Tips: For easier voice recognition with Alexa or Google Home Assistant, rename your smart LED bulbs in the "Smart Life" app to simple, descriptive names (e.g., "bedroom bulb," "kitchen light").
8. Connect to Siri Shortcuts (iOS 12.0 and above)
You can control "Tap-to-Run" scenarios created in the "Smart Life" app using Siri shortcuts.
- In the "Smart" section of the "Smart Life" app, create a new "Tap-to-Run" scenario and give it a name (a word or phrase).
- Configure the actions for the "Tap-to-Run" scenario.
- Tap "Add to Siri" [Add to Siri Button] on the bottom right of the "Smart" section and select the desired scenario.
- Record your personalized phrase for Siri to activate the scenario (e.g., "Hey Siri, light up the room"). Siri will then use this phrase to trigger the "Smart Life" shortcut.
