How to Use

1. Connect: Connect the external drive to your laptop via the provided USB A or USB C data cable.
2. Set Region Code: Ensure the drive's region identification mechanism matches the DVD disc's region code. Discs without codes can be played universally.
3. Eject Tray: Press the pop-up button on the external drive to open the disc tray.
4. Insert Disc: Place the disc in the tray with the label-side facing up, then gently push the tray to close it.

Important Notes:

• Use the included USB A/USB C data cable for connection; extension cables are not recommended.
• When reading or burning discs, disable your computer's "sleep mode" to prevent data loss or damage.
• For desktop computers, it is recommended to use the rear USB ports, as front ports may sometimes be unavailable.
• The USB A to Micro USB cable is for charging only, not for data transfer.
• The Micro USB port on the drive is for charging purposes only.

Attention & Tips

Power Considerations:

• If your computer lacks sufficient power, use a 5V charger or power bank connected to the drive to ensure proper operation. Insufficient power can lead to the drive being recognized but unable to read discs, or reading but unable to burn.

Software & Usage:

• Ensure your computer has compatible media player software (e.g., VLC media player) installed before using the drive.
• The SD card slot and TF card slot cannot be used simultaneously.
• This portable CD/DVD burner cannot play Blu-ray discs or game discs exceeding 8.5 GB.
• The ORIGBELIE DVD drive has a limit of 4 region code changes. Once this limit is reached, the region code cannot be altered further.

DVD Region Code:

• Discs purchased in one country may not be playable on players from another country due to region coding.
• The region code is typically marked on the DVD disc. Discs without codes are universally playable.
• To play a disc, ensure the external drive's region code is set to match the disc's code.
