1 General
1.1 Intended Use
The HD video endoscope probe 180° panable can only be used together with the endoscopes Wöhler VE 220, VE 320, VE 400 or VE 500.

2 Important Notes
⚠️ Warning! Do not use the probe and endoscope in an explosive environment.
❗ ATTENTION! The probe may only be connected to the Wöhler VE 220, 320, 400 and 500 endoscopes.
❗ ATTENTION! Always connect the probe to the endoscope using the 1.5 m connection cable. This is included in the scope of delivery of the endoscope. Otherwise the connection socket of the probe may be damaged due to the mechanical load.
❗ ATTENTION! Make sure never to twist or kink the probe cable.
❗ ATTENTION! Never turn the rotary knob on the probe handle more than a quarter turn in any direction.
❗ ATTENTION! Stand the probe tip upright before pulling the probe out of the inspection port. The Wöhler logo on the rotary knob is then exactly parallel to the probe handle.
❗ ATTENTION! Dry the probe after contact with liquid and make sure that it is stored in a dry place.

4 Design
The device consists of several key components:
- Connection to the endoscope: The point where the probe connects to the main endoscope unit.
- Probe handle: The ergonomic grip for holding and manipulating the probe.
- Rotary knob: Located on the probe handle, used to control the pan/tilt of the probe tip.
- Probe cable: A flexible cable connecting the probe tip to the handle, containing wires and possibly fluid channels.
- Probe tip with 6 LEDs: The camera head at the end of the probe, equipped with six light-emitting diodes for illumination.
5 Connecting the probe
NOTE! Mount the camera probe before switching on the Wöhler VE. If you connect the probe when the device is switched on, you will need to restart the Wöhler VE.
- To connect the probe to the monitor, insert the probe into the female connector ensuring the notch on the male connector is precisely aligned with the red dot on the female connector.
- Then tighten the gland nut finger-tight.
❗ ATTENTION! Always connect the probe to the endoscope using the 1.5 m connection cable. This is included in the scope of delivery of the endoscope. Otherwise the connection socket of the probe may be damaged due to the mechanical load.
6 Operation
- Switch on the Wöhler VE and operate it as described in the Wöhler VE operating instructions.
- To swivel the probe tip 180° to the left or right, turn the rotary knob to the left or right.
- The probe tip is 0° straight ahead when the Wöhler logo on the rotary knob is parallel to the handle.
❗ ATTENTION! Never should the rotary knob be turned more than a quarter turn in any direction.
