Introduction

This document provides instructions for setting up and using the Philips Hue HDMI Sync Box. It allows you to sync your Philips Hue lights with the content displayed on your TV.

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Connect HDMI Devices

Connect your HDMI sources (e.g., Blu-ray player, game console) to the HDMI IN ports on the back of the Philips Hue HDMI Sync Box. Ensure you use HDMI cables less than 3 meters (approx. 9.8 feet) in length.

Step 2: Connect to TV or AV Receiver

2a. Connecting to a TV: Connect the HDMI OUT port of the Sync Box to an HDMI input on your television.

2b. Connecting to an AV Receiver: Connect the HDMI OUT port of the Sync Box to an HDMI input on your AV Receiver. Then, connect the AV Receiver's HDMI output to your TV.

Step 3: Connect Power

Connect the provided power adapter to the power port on the Philips Hue HDMI Sync Box and plug it into a wall outlet.

Step 4: Power On and Button Functions

The Philips Hue HDMI Sync Box has a single button on its front for control:

• 1x Press: Turns the device ON.
• Multiple Presses (>1x): Cycles through the connected HDMI inputs (HDMI 1, 2, 3, 4).
• Hold for 10 seconds: Resets the device to factory settings.
