Introduction to the IP-900 Series Software
This document serves as the user manual for the software of the Fujitsu IP-900 Series. It provides detailed information on the operation and features of the IP-900 series products.
For hardware installation and cable connection procedures, please refer to the separate Hardware User Manual.
This manual is intended for system designers and device administrators who possess a foundational understanding of networks and video distribution.
Key Features and Usage
The IP-900 Series is a high-efficiency video transmission system designed for real-time video delivery over FTTH-class optical networks. It supports H.264 encoding for video and audio, enabling efficient IP network streaming.
The system includes encoder (IP-900E) and decoder (IP-900D/IP-900IID) units. The encoder compresses video and audio into H.264 format for transmission, while the decoder receives and decompresses the stream for output.
An integrated storage function allows for the transfer of high-definition video over time, even on networks with limited bandwidth.
