Arrow Exhaust Full System Installation Guide for Yamaha MT-09
Preliminary Information, Use, Warranty, and Maintenance
Limitations of Warranty
The warranty is limited to defects recognized by the manufacturer's technical service and related to normal use of the exhaust system. Warranty terms exclude components subject to normal wear, like gaskets and wadding materials. Warranty is void in case of accident, modifications, improper use, and competition use.
General Instructions
- During and after installation, ensure the exhaust system does not touch any components sensitive to high temperatures. The manufacturer is not liable for damages resulting from improper use and installation.
- After installation, check that all screws are properly tightened and the exhaust system is aligned.
- For tightening original screws, refer to the vehicle's maintenance manual. For hardware provided in the kit, follow the values listed in the table.
- It is strongly recommended not to install or use the exhaust system on a vehicle for which it was not designed.
- In normal use, the exhaust system can get very hot, even after the engine is switched off. Be careful to avoid contact with exhaust system surfaces.
- The durability of internal wadding materials varies with use. It is recommended to check internal wadding material every 8000/9000 km or at least once a year, or if there's a change in noise or silencer color.
- Technical characteristics and specifications of Arrow exhaust systems and components are subject to change without notice.

Notice for the United States
Some US states and the federal government have specific laws for aftermarket exhaust systems, especially those modifying or replacing the stock catalyst. Consult local laws regarding emissions before installation. Arrow Special Parts does not warrant universal compliance with these laws.
California Notice
California law prohibits aftermarket components that modify or replace the original catalyst, unless CARB has issued an executive order or they are installed on a racing vehicle for closed circuits. Arrow Special Parts does not warrant compliance with these exemptions. Buyers are responsible for complying with California laws.
