Ziehm Imaging Mini C-Arms
Dedicated to the imaging of extremities and pediatric use
Introduction to Orthoscan Mini C-Arms
Orthoscan is a leading provider of mini C-arm systems, with a significant global presence. Their mini C-arms are widely utilized in orthopedic surgery and for digital diagnostic imaging across various clinical settings. These systems are particularly well-suited for fluoroscopy of extremities, offering minimized radiation dose levels. Their lightweight design ensures ease of handling in confined spaces and operating rooms, facilitating efficient transfer between examination rooms.
Since 2017, Ziehm Imaging has held exclusive distribution rights for Orthoscan mini C-arms and serves as the official sales and service representative for these products in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This partnership allows Ziehm Imaging to offer a comprehensive range of mobile fluoroscopy systems, from mini C-arms to high-end, full-size C-arms.
Orthoscan TAU 2020
The Orthoscan TAU 2020 boasts superior capabilities and is considered the most advanced mini C-arm available. It features the largest field of view in its class, enabling more anatomy to be captured in a single image. This reduces the number of views required, thereby minimizing patient dose and procedure time. The stepless, motorized collimator precisely adjusts the exposure field to the area of interest, reducing radiation exposure and optimizing image quality. The next-generation CMOS detector enhances image quality with improved contrast and detail.
Key Features:
- Imaging Technology: CMOS, flat-panel, 20.0 cm x 20.0 cm
- Detector Resolution: 2.0 k x 2.0 k
- High-resolution LCD monitor: 27"
- Touchscreen: Yes
- Intelligent Dose Reduction (IDR): Provides optimal image quality while reducing patient and staff exposure. Features pulsed fluoroscopy with selectable pulse rates (30, 15, 7.5, 2 pulses per second) and an optimized dose filter for reduced dose in children and adults.
- Increased Usability: Features the advanced Orthotouch™ 2.0 touchscreen interface with anatomically programmed selections, on-screen help, and dedicated pediatric settings. Improved bilateral controls on the tube head offer easy access to imaging and documentation functions within the sterile field. LED lights on the underside of the tube head illuminate the surgical field.
- Weight: 215.5 kg
Orthoscan TAU 1515
The Orthoscan TAU 1515 exceeds expectations for mini C-arm performance. Equipped with a 15 cm x 15 cm detector, it provides clear visualization of anatomy. The large field of view, combined with a 24" high-resolution LCD monitor, allows clinicians to focus on the patient rather than the equipment. This system enables preferred views with fewer shots, improving workflow and reducing radiation exposure. The next-generation CMOS detector ensures high image quality with excellent contrast and detail.
Key Features:
- Imaging Technology: CMOS, flat-panel, 15.0 cm x 15.0 cm
- Detector Resolution: 1.5 k x 1.5 k
- High-resolution LCD monitor: 24"
- Touchscreen: Yes
- Intelligent Dose Reduction (IDR): Similar to TAU 2020, offering dose reduction benefits.
- Increased Usability: Features the Orthotouch™ 2.0 touchscreen interface and improved bilateral controls.
- Weight: 215.5 kg
Orthoscan TAU 1512
