YOKE MOUNT / C-BRACKET INSTALLATION GUIDE STEP 1 - FEED WIRE THROUGH BRACKET
Run the loudspeaker wires to the loudspeaker locations and through the center hole in the mounting brackets (Figure 1). Note: Be sure to leave enough wire at the loudspeaker location to feed to the loudspeaker and for any required service/drip loop.

STEP 2 - ATTACH BRACKET TO MOUNTING SURFACE
Attach the bracket to the mounting surface using hardware that is appropriate for the type of surface and loudspeaker weight. The mounting bracket can be attached either horizontally (Figure 2) or vertically (Figure 3). Use a level to ensure the bracket is correctly aligned in the vertical or horizontal orientation.

STEP 3 - FEED WIRE THROUGH WEATHERPROOF BACK PLATE
Optional step required for weatherproofing in outdoor installations:
a. On the grommet plate, determine which pilot hole locations will be used to feed wire through. b. Stack the grommet assembly on an elevated flat surface (Figure 4) and drill through the selected hole(s) with an electric drill and standard #1 drill bit (Figure 5) c. Insert the cables through the holes in the rubber grommet and pull enough wire through so you can adjust the wire length as needed when making connections
(Figure 6). If the wire cannot be pushed through the grommet, repeat step b above with a larger diameter drill bit. This may require stepping up the drill bit diameter until the wire can be pushed through the drilled hole. Note: Wires need to be unterminated before inserting through weatherproof grommet.

STEP 4 - CONNECT CABLE TO EUROBLOCK CONNECTOR
Strip off an appropriate amount of insulation off each wire and insert the wire into the correct pin opening on the connector. Use a small flat head screwdriver to tighten the corresponding screw to secure the wire (Figure 7). Connect the Input pins to the amplifier upstream. Connect the Output pins to any additional 70.7/100V loudspeakers downstream or to a second loudspeaker for 4 operation, if used in low impedance mode (Figure 8).

STEP 14 - ENSURE "SERVICE LOOP" IN PLACE TO PREVENT WATER DAMAGE
Optional step required for weatherproofing in outdoor installations: Ensure that one point of the loudspeaker wire ("service / drip loop") is below the point where the wire is fed through the yoke bracket. This prevents water from being directed towards the loudspeaker. (Figure 18). Note: Connect the safety tether from the safety ring at the bottom of the loudspeaker to a structurally adequate location on the mounting surface. The safety tether will hold the weight of the loudspeaker, should the loudspeaker fall.
