Product Overview

The MIPRO ACT-848 is a professional 1U rack-mountable digital wireless receiver, designed for high-performance audio applications. It features a robust EIA standard metal chassis and a user-friendly control panel equipped with a new color VFD display, a headphone monitor jack, a jog dial, and intuitive buttons for seamless operation. The rear panel provides comprehensive connectivity, including analog audio outputs, AES/EBU digital audio output, Dante or AVB digital audio network interfaces, and a REMOTE computer network interface.

The receiver utilizes proprietary 72 MHz wideband circuitry, offering a greater number of interference-free channels. Its digital auto-scan receiving technology enhances transmission distance and ensures consistent audio quality, unaffected by distance or signal strength variations. Security is enhanced with unique 256-bit encryption to prevent eavesdropping. MIPRO's pioneering Auto Scan and ACT functions enable quick and accurate transmitter channel locking. The device stores 224 channels across 7 preset groups, with an additional group allowing users to save up to 16 preferred channels from a selection of 2,881 switchable frequencies.

Each channel offers individual audio output. The audio processing is handled by high-fidelity DSP technology coupled with a D/A converter, delivering audio quality comparable to wired microphones. The system includes switchable three-level volume settings for audio outputs (+16dB/0dB/-6dB) and 10 preset digital audio and anti-feedback EQ settings. For advanced control, it features a USB interface for MIPRO ACT-BUS computer remote control of up to 64 system operations and can integrate with FSA software for interference-free channel calculation. The TNC antenna connectors provide bias for the antenna system, improving reception range and signal quality. It operates on an external 100~240V AC switching power supply for stable performance under varying voltage conditions.

The MIPRO ACT-848 is compatible with MIPRO ACT-800H handheld and ACT-800T bodypack transmitters, and is also backward compatible with older models. Designed and manufactured in Taiwan, it offers superior quality and value.
