Important Safety Instructions
When using an iron, basic precautions should always be followed:
- Only use the iron for its intended purpose.
- To avoid electric shock, do not immerse the iron in water or other liquids.
- Always turn the iron OFF before plugging or unplugging it from the electrical outlet. Grasp the plug to disconnect, do not pull the cord.
- Keep the cord away from hot surfaces. Let the iron cool completely before storing and coil the cord loosely.
- Disconnect the iron from the electrical outlet before filling, emptying, or when not in use.
- Do not operate with a damaged cord or if the iron has been dropped or damaged. Do not disassemble; take it to a qualified service center for repair to avoid electric shock.
- Close supervision is required for appliances used by or near children. Do not leave the iron unattended while connected or on an ironing board.
- Be cautious of burns from hot metal parts, hot water, or steam.
- To avoid circuit overload, do not operate the iron on the same circuit with another high wattage appliance.
- If using an extension cord, ensure it has an ampere rating equal to or greater than the iron's maximum rating and is fully extended. Arrange the cord to prevent tripping.
- Use and rest the iron on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure the iron's stand rests on a stable surface.
- The iron must not be left unattended while connected to the mains.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, unless supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

What Water May Be Used?
This iron is designed for untreated tap water. If unsure, check with your local water authority. For very hard water, mix 50% untreated tap water with 50% distilled or demineralised water.
IMPORTANT: Do not add anything to the water tank. Do not use water from tumble dryers, scented/softened water, refrigerators, batteries, air conditioners, pure distilled/demineralised water, or rainwater. These can cause spitting, brown staining, or premature wear.
Before first use: A slight release of smoke, a harmless odour, and light spray of particles may occur. This is normal and will disappear quickly.
Environment
Your appliance contains valuable materials that can be recovered or recycled. Please leave it at a local civic waste collection point.
Important Recommendations
Ensure your electrical installation voltage matches the iron's requirements. Always plug the iron into an earthed socket. Incorrect connection can cause irreversible damage and void the warranty.
