Product Overview

Please read this manual carefully before using the product and keep it in a safe place.

The 70mai Dash Cam Pro Plus features the following components:

• 1 Function Buttons: Controls for operating the dash cam.
• 2 Power Button: Used to turn the dash cam on and off.
• 3 Display: The screen for viewing live feed and settings.
• 4 Power Port: Connection point for the power supply cable (DC/IN).
• 5 Memory Card Slot: Slot for inserting a MicroSD card.
• 6 Speaker: Outputs audio alerts and sounds.
• 7 Camera: The lens that captures video footage.
• 8 Mounting Slot: Where the dash cam attaches to the mount.
• 9 Microphone: Records audio from the vehicle's interior or exterior.
• 10 Indicator: An LED light indicating the device's status.

Installation

1. Installing the electrostatic sticker

Clean your windshield and apply the electrostatic sticker to the recommended area as shown in the figure. Ensure you remove any air bubbles between the sticker and the glass for a secure fit.

Note: For optimal adhesion, ensure the electrostatic sticker is applied to a flat and smooth part of the windshield. Press it firmly and avoid placing it on the edge of the windshield's film to prevent it from falling off.

2. Installing the memory card

Insert a MicroSD card into the memory card slot with its contacts facing upwards until you hear a click, indicating it is well-installed.

3. Installing the mount

Attach the mount to the corresponding slot on the dash cam and slide it upwards until it clicks into place, as shown in the figure. Ensure the mount is securely installed to the dash cam.

4. Mounting the dash cam

Peel off the protective film from the adhesive sticker on the base of the mount. Then, carefully paste the dash cam, attached to its mount, onto the electrostatic sticker on the windshield in the designated area.

5. Connecting the power supply

Route the power cord along the top of the windshield, down the A-pillar, and around the glove compartment so that the power connector is easily accessible near the cigarette lighter socket. Connect the power cord to the car charger, and then plug the charger into the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.

Note:

• Use the included crowbar to neatly hide the power cord underneath the vehicle's headliner and rubber seal along the A-pillar.
• The location of the cigarette lighter socket may vary depending on the vehicle model. The provided figure is for reference only.

6. Adjusting the dash cam angle

Turn on the dash cam. Adjust the camera angle by observing the preview screen to ensure it is facing the front of the vehicle.

This product can be used in conjunction with the 70mai App. Search for "70mai" in your mobile device's App Store or scan the provided QR code to download and install the app.

Memory Card Instructions

• A memory card (sold separately) must be installed in the dash cam before use.
• The dash cam supports standard MicroSD cards. Use memory cards with a capacity of 16 GB to 128 GB and a speed rating of Class 10 or higher.
• The default file partition format of the memory card may differ from the format supported by the dash cam. When inserting a memory card for the first time, please format it in the dash cam before use. Formatting will delete all files on the card; back up important data to another device beforehand.
• The memory card may become damaged or deteriorate after repeated cycles of overwriting, which can affect its ability to save video and image files. If this occurs, replace it with a new memory card immediately.
• Please use a high-quality memory card purchased from a reputable vendor. Inferior memory cards may exhibit issues such as actual reading/writing speeds that do not match stated speeds, or storage capacities that do not match stated capacities. 70mai shall not be held liable for lost or damaged videos caused by the use of a low-quality memory card.
• To prevent reading and writing speeds from decreasing after prolonged use, it is recommended to format the memory card in the dash cam every two weeks.
• Do not insert or remove a memory card while the dash cam is turned on.

Before using this dash cam, please read all precautions and the online guide to ensure correct and safe use.

• This dash cam is intended to assist drivers by recording the environment outside the vehicle. It does not guarantee the user's driving safety. 70mai shall not be held liable for any accident, damage, or loss of information caused by operating the dash cam while driving.
• Due to variations in vehicle conditions, driving style, and driving environment, some functions may not work properly. Power failure, usage in environments outside the normal operating temperature or humidity range, a collision, or a damaged memory card may cause the dash cam to function abnormally. There is no guarantee that this dash cam will function normally under all circumstances. Videos recorded by this dash cam are for reference only.
• Please install this dash cam correctly, ensuring it does not block the driver's line of sight or the vehicle's airbags, to avoid product failure or personal injury.
• Please use the included car charger, power cord, and other accessories to avoid product failure due to non-conformance. 70mai shall not be held liable for any loss or damage caused by the use of a non-genuine car charger or power cord.
• If the battery becomes deformed, swollen, or starts leaking during use or storage, stop using the dash cam immediately to avoid safety issues and contact after-sales service.
• Please keep this dash cam away from any strong magnetic fields, as they may cause damage to the dash cam.
• Do not use this dash cam in environments with temperatures over 60°C or below -10°C.
• Please use this dash cam only within the scope permitted by law.
