Sony Student Cashback Promotion Terms and Conditions

Promotion Organizer

The organizer of the "Student Cashback" promotion ("Promotion") is Sony Europe B.V., located at The Heights, Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 0XW, United Kingdom ("Sony"). Please do not send application forms to the above address as they will not be processed. Applications should only be made via the websites indicated in point 5.

Promotion Details

The promotion is addressed to consumers. Only the first purchasers of a qualifying product who are 18 years of age or older and are students of a higher education institution (including private ones) in any of the European countries participating in this promotion ("Student") are eligible to participate. Legal entities, organizations, institutions, resellers, and Sony employees, subcontractors, and service providers are not eligible for this offer. The promotion applies exclusively to the purchase of qualifying new products (i.e., not used, returned, or refurbished products) that have been delivered and distributed by Sony in the territory of the Republic of Poland.

Scope of Promotion

Individuals who, between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026 (inclusive), purchase one of the products listed below ("Products") from an authorized Sony dealer in Poland may apply for a student cashback ("Cashback") provided they register the Product on their My Sony account by August 30, 2026. Submitting an application for Cashback constitutes acceptance of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

Making a Claim

1. Regardless of the type of Product(s) the claim concerns, it is required to complete the online form available at: https://www.sony.pl/promo/studentcashback. A My Sony account is necessary to make a claim. Individuals who do not have a My Sony account will need to create one.
2. When making a claim, you will need to electronically submit:
   • a. the product's serial number;
   • b. a photo of the serial number on the product held in hand;
   • c. a copy of the purchase receipt or invoice with the seller's name, product name, and purchase date clearly indicated;
   • d. a photo of a student ID card issued in the applicant's name, showing the current academic year (2025/2026) or another personal document confirming admission to studies in the current academic year (2025/2026).
3. Order confirmations placed online or handwritten proof of purchase will not be accepted. If any of the documents mentioned in point 6 are false, altered, or fabricated, the Cashback claim will be rejected, and the application will be considered fraudulent. Sony reserves the right to request additional information and/or documents to verify the correctness of the claims.
4. Claims can be made no earlier than thirty (30) days from the date of purchase of the Product(s). Claims made prematurely will be rejected.
5. The submission of all claim forms for this Promotion is open until midnight (Central European Time) on August 30, 2026. Claims received after this deadline will not be accepted.

General Provisions Applicable to All Cashback Claims

Cashback is applicable only to qualifying new Products that were delivered and distributed by Sony through authorized dealers in Poland. Before making a purchase, it is recommended to contact the seller or consult the list of official retail partners to ensure the purchase meets the requirements of these Terms and Conditions. Detailed information about authorized Sony dealers can also be found on Sony's website for the "Student Cashback" promotion indicated in point 5. Sony is not responsible for misleading declarations by the seller in this regard; the final decision on whether a seller is an authorized dealer rests with Sony. For the avoidance of doubt: Sony will not accept claims for purchases made on Amazon and Amazon Marketplace platforms, even if the seller is on the list of dealers participating in this campaign.

The "Student Cashback" offer from Sony does not combine with other promotions for the Product(s) running at the seller's at the time of purchase, nor with other Sony cashback promotions on the Product(s). However, after purchasing and registering the Product(s) under this "Student Cashback" offer, you can take advantage of Sony's "Extended Warranty" and "Welcome to Alpha" promotions.

Cashback is not applicable to a Product that the buyer has returned to the seller, having received a refund of the amount paid. To monitor Product returns, Sony may verify serial numbers with sellers. In the event of a Cashback payout for a Product that is subsequently returned, Sony will be entitled to recover the amount.

A customer can make a maximum of two claims for a given model, and a maximum of five claims in total (example: a customer who purchases a qualifying camera and a qualifying kit including the same camera model will be able to make a claim for both purchases).

If a submitted claim is incomplete, the participant will be informed by email and will have fourteen (14) calendar days to resolve any issues and submit corrected, valid documents that meet the defined requirements.

Cashback will be transferred within 28 days of meeting all criteria. If it is impossible to meet this deadline due to a force majeure event, the cashback will be transferred as soon as possible thereafter.

Cashback will be transferred via bank transfer, provided that the correct bank account details have been provided and received correctly and legibly. Claimants will receive the Cashback in Polish zloty. If a bank account in a country other than the country of purchase is provided, the participant should ensure that the bank accepts payments in Polish zloty and accept that the amount received may depend on the local currency and exchange rate on the day of payment. Sony will not be responsible for cases where the bank does not accept payments in that currency, nor for any associated bank fees that may apply. It is not possible to transfer Cashback by any other means.

Broadband Internet access is required. Connection and download speed must be sufficient to complete the claim form. Sony will not be responsible for any technical issues, including those related to hardware, software, servers, websites, or internet connections, that prevent or hinder participation in this Promotion.

Miscellaneous Provisions

Sony reserves the right to suspend and/or refuse the payment of the Student Cashback:

• (i) in the case of claims for participation in this Promotion, if these claims raise suspicion of falsity or fraud, as well as claims that do not meet the requirements of these regulations,
• (ii) in the case of claims with a serial number that has already been used in a previous promotion or in a previous claim in this promotion, or
• (iii) to a person who, during a previous promotion, made a fraudulent claim or a claim that otherwise violated the regulations of that promotion. Sony reserves the right to take legal action against the claimant who intentionally makes a fraudulent claim.

Cashback cannot be exchanged for credit, cash, or product.

If necessary, Sony may share data with sellers or other third parties to verify claims and prevent fraudulent claims (or to report them).

This Promotion will be subject to the law of the participant's country of residence and interpreted accordingly, and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that country.
