This 20ft white StarTech.com CAT8 Ethernet cable is designed for high-performance networking, supporting 25/40Gbps speeds and a 2000MHz frequency range, offering up to four times the throughput of Cat6a cables. It is ideal for enterprise environments requiring reliable, high-speed data transmission and supports up to 100W of Power over Ethernet (PoE++).

The cable features a Shielded and Foiled Twisted Pair (S/FTP) construction with 26AWG pure bare copper wire for enhanced conductivity and minimal signal loss. Each pair is shielded with aluminum-mylar foil and a tinned copper braid to provide superior EMI protection. The snagless, 50-micron gold-plated RJ45 connectors ensure a secure and durable connection, rated for over 750 mating cycles. The flexible Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) flame-retardant jacket enhances safety in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces by emitting fewer toxic fumes in the event of a fire. The cable is designed to withstand +/-90-degree bends, allowing for easy routing in confined spaces.

It is backward compatible with Cat 6/6a and Cat 5/5e standards, ensuring seamless integration into existing network infrastructures. The cable has undergone Fluke channel testing to guarantee its CAT8 performance.
