Important Safeguards

Please read this entire manual before using your Typhur Sync Quad. Failure to follow these instructions could result in property damage or bodily injury.

• The Device Base is NOT waterproof and should not be submerged in water or placed in the dishwasher.
• The probe is SHARP! Care should be exercised when handling the probe.
• This appliance should NOT be used by or near children or individuals with certain disabilities.
• DO NOT use the Probe when cooking at temperatures above 662°F/350°C for 20 minutes, or above 752°F/400°C for 2 minutes.
• DO NOT place the Device Base unit directly on the grill cover or close to any hot surface.
• DO NOT use the Probe in a microwave or pressure cooker.
• DO NOT use cleaning products containing alcohol, ammonium, benzene, or abrasives, as these could damage the device.
• DO NOT submerge the Probe in water for long periods of time.
• DO NOT run the Probe under cold water immediately after cooking. Let the probe cool down prior to washing.

If the Probe falls into a fire or direct heat source, turn off the cooking appliance and close the lid immediately. Allow the Probe to cool completely before removing. Carefully remove the Probe from the cooked meat, taking caution as it may be hot.

Device Components

The Typhur Sync Quad consists of a main Device Base and wireless Probes. The Device Base features:

• A 3.5" TFT Screen for displaying temperature and time.
• Touch Capacitive Controls for navigation.
• A Type-C USB port for charging (5V 1400mA minimum required).
• Ports for up to four probes.
• Indicator lights for Bluetooth ? and Wi-Fi ?.
• A Battery Indicator ?.

Each Probe contains:

• An Ambient Temperature Sensor (Max Ambient: 752°F / 400°C).
• Internal Temperature Sensors 1-5 (Max Internal: 221°F / 105°C).
• A Safety Line marker on the probe shaft.
• The probe shaft is made of Stainless Steel [Stainless steel material].
• The handle is made of High-density Ceramic [Ceramic handle].

Using for the First Time

1. Ensure the product is fully charged and review the important safety information.
2. Download the free Typhur App for iOS or Android.
3. Insert the probe completely into the meat, ensuring it passes the safety line but does not exceed the ceramic handle, and that the internal sensors are in the center of the meat.

Operation

Panel Instructions

• Probe Interface Display: Shows the battery status of the Probe, current temperature, and remaining time.
• Power/Confirm Button ?: Turns the Device Base ON or OFF; executes selected commands.
• Left/Right Buttons ◀️ / ▶️: Select items or navigate menus.
• Indicators: Bluetooth ?, Wi-Fi ?, Battery ?.

Power Control

• Power On: Press and hold the "O" button for 3 seconds.
• Power Off: Press and hold the "O" button for 3 seconds to shut down the screen. Alternatively, select "Stop" when prompted during cooking. The probes automatically power off when disconnected from the base after a period.

Sleep Mode

The Device Base enters Sleep Mode after 5 minutes of inactivity. The display turns off, buttons cease illumination, and the power button emits a pulsing light. This can be adjusted in the Typhur App.

Screen Lock Mode

The screen locks after 30 seconds of inactivity. Touch any key to unlock.

Language Selection

Press the "O" button to select the desired language.

Pairing the Typhur App

For first-time use, scan the QR code on the Device Base (or download from app stores) to install the Typhur App. Open the app, tap "Devices", select "Add Device", choose "Typhur Sync Quad", and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your device.

Connectivity

• Wi-Fi Connection (Highly Recommended): The device connects to Wi-Fi when in range, ensuring instant message delivery to the Typhur App. The Wi-Fi signal strength is shown via the ? icon.
• Bluetooth Connection: The device can also connect via Bluetooth, but this may not guarantee instantaneous message delivery. Wi-Fi is more reliable.

Restore Factory Settings

Press "<" and ">" simultaneously for 5 seconds to enter "Reset" mode. Follow the prompts to complete the operation.

Cooking

Temperature Setting

Unplug a probe. The Device Base screen will display the "Set up cook" prompt. You can adjust your temperature unit preference (Fahrenheit/Celsius) via the Typhur App.

Cooking Modes

• Smart Mode: Predicts when meat should be removed from heat based on target temperature and warming rate. Alerts when removed from heat and when ready to serve.
• Manual Mode: Receive alerts only when the set temperature is reached.

Cooking States

• Remove from heat: Indicates the food should be removed from the heat source.
• Resting: The food is resting, allowing residual heat to continue cooking.
• Ready: The food is cooked and ready to serve. Press the "O" button to end the cooking process.
