Step 2: Mount the Wall Plate on the Wall
A. Wood Studs Option:
Locate wood studs using a stud finder. Ensure the wall studs are at least 16" (406mm) apart. Drill pilot holes using the 5/32" (4mm) wood drill bit. Attach the wall plate [01] to the wall studs using lag screws [A1]. Use the level [A2b] to ensure the plate is horizontal.

B. Solid Concrete and Brick Walls Option:
For solid concrete or brick walls, drill holes using the 3/8" (10mm) concrete drill bit. Insert wall anchors [A2a] into the drilled holes. Attach the wall plate [01] to the wall using lag screws [A1] through the wall anchors. Use the level [A2b] to ensure the plate is horizontal.
Diagrams: Show drilling into concrete/brick walls, inserting anchors, and mounting the wall plate.
Step 3: Verify that the Mount is Firmly Mounted
Gently pull on the mounted wall plate to ensure it is securely attached to the wall. Test with a weight of 115 lbs (52kg) if possible.
