Overview

The IDEA EXO12 is a versatile, high-performance full-range 2-way passive wedged monitor designed for professional environments requiring portable sound reinforcement. It delivers superior audio reproduction in a very compact, multipurpose format.

The EXO12 HF assembly features a 3" compression driver coupled to an IDEA proprietary axisymmetric horn made from birch plywood. A premium European, dedicated-design passive crossover filter ensures a smooth, natural transition to the 12" LF woofer.

Constructed with 15 and 18 mm Finnish plywood, IDEA's Aquaforce waterproof paint coating, and a high-quality steel grille, the EXO12 is rugged, durable, and stylish.

The 60° wedged cabinet design allows it to be used as a Front of House (FOH) main system in small venues, bars, and AV applications, as a stage monitor, or seamlessly integrated into wall-mount fixed installations.

The EXO12 includes a bottom 36 mm Pole Mount socket for configuration on BASSO Series subwoofers for portable sound reinforcement in medium-performance venues and clubs. Dedicated U-bracket and threaded M8/M6 inserts facilitate vertical and horizontal U-bracket mounting on walls and ceilings, as well as precise orientation in pole-mounted configurations.

Side View: Shows the overall height of 681 mm and depth of 366 mm. Features two integrated handles on the side and four rubber feet at the base.
Front View: Displays the 12" woofer and the HF compression driver/horn assembly. The width is 336 mm.
Rear View: Illustrates the connection panel with two Neutrik speakON NL-4 connectors, labeled "+/-1 Input" and "+/-2 Parallel Signal". It also indicates the presence of threaded M8 and M6 inserts for mounting.

Warranty

• All IDEA products are guaranteed against any manufacturing defect for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase for acoustical parts and 2 years from the date of purchase for electronic devices.
• The guarantee excludes damage from incorrect use of the product.
• Any guarantee repair, replacement, and servicing must be exclusively done by the factory or any of its authorized service centers.
• Do not open or attempt to repair the product; otherwise, servicing and replacement will not be applicable for guarantee repair.
• Return the damaged unit, at the shipper's risk and freight prepaid, to the nearest service center with a copy of the purchase invoice to claim guarantee service or replacement.
