Getting Started
- Open the Bluetooth® remote release housing by separating it with a coin (e.g., a 2 pence piece).
- Remove the battery cover and insert one CR1632 battery, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - markings).
- Close the battery compartment by pushing the two housing covers back together.
Operation
Note: Functions described are available only for Bluetooth®-capable terminal devices.
The maximum Bluetooth® range is 10 meters without obstacles like walls or people.
Bluetooth® Pairing
Note – Pairing:
- Ensure your Bluetooth®-capable terminal device is powered on and Bluetooth® is activated.
- Make sure your terminal device is visible to other Bluetooth® devices.
- Refer to your terminal device's operating instructions for more details.
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button (2) on the remote trigger for approximately 3 seconds to turn it on. The indicator light (1) will begin to flash blue, indicating it is searching for a connection.
- Open the Bluetooth® settings on your terminal device. Wait until "hama Funstand57" appears in the list of found Bluetooth® devices.
- Select "hama Funstand57". The indicator light (1) will go out once the remote trigger is connected.
- You can now use the Bluetooth® remote release.
Automatic Bluetooth® Connection (after successful pairing)
Note:
- Ensure your Bluetooth®-capable terminal device is powered on and Bluetooth® is activated.
- Make sure your terminal device is visible to other Bluetooth® devices.
- Refer to your terminal device's operating instructions for more details.
- The Bluetooth® remote release remains connected to the last paired device.
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button (2) for approximately 3 seconds to turn on the remote release. The indicator light (1) begins to flash blue.
- After 3-5 seconds, the remote release will automatically connect to the device.
- You can now use the Bluetooth® remote release.
Connection Impaired
If the Bluetooth® connection does not re-establish automatically after initial pairing, check the following:
- Verify in your terminal device's Bluetooth® settings that "hama Funstand57" is connected. If not, repeat the pairing steps (Section 6.1).
- Check if obstacles are affecting the range. If so, move the devices closer together.
- A weak battery can also affect performance. Change the battery if necessary.
- Only one Bluetooth® device can be connected at a time. If you are connected to another device, deactivate that connection and try again.
Replacing the Batteries
The battery is designed for up to 2,000 shots, depending on usage conditions. If the Bluetooth® remote release shows no reaction when the release button (2) is pressed, or fails to connect to the terminal device, change the battery as follows (refer to diagram B on Page 3).
Care and Maintenance
Clean this product only with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Ensure that no water gets into the product.
