This product represents the highest standards of workmanship and engineering research. If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the appliance from the power source. Allow the setter to cool. Clean the unit and the metal rails with a damp cloth. (Occasionally you may want to clean the rollers. Use a damp cloth and mild detergent or soap.) If any abnormal condition occurs, unplug the hairsetter, allow it to cool, and return it to an authorized service representative for repair. STORAGE Allow hairsetter to cool. Handle cord carefully for longer life; avoid jerking or straining at plug connections. Place hairsetter out of reach of children in a safe, dry location. Do not touch the metal rails that heat the rollers, nor the aluminum posts that heat the rollers they are hot. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS How to operate your hairsetter 1. Place hairsetter on a firm, flat surface. With the lid closed, plug cord into outlet. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. 2. Never leave your hairsetter plugged in and unattended. Always unplug the hairsetter when not in use. Allow the hairsetter to cool down after use. Store unit in safe place. 3. When using the hairsetter, your hair should be clean and dry (or slightly damp), never wet. HOW TO STYLE YOUR HAIR 1. Place ends of hair on roller and wind toward scalp. Roll hair up firmly. Open plastic clip, position on roller, and gently slide the plastic clip toward the scalp for a firm hold. Do not place plastic clip in roller slit. 2. The wave is regulated by the temperature and the length of time the roller is left in your hair. 3. Leave rollers in hair for 10 minutes or until rollers are cool before removing. 4. Removing roller: When roller cools, hold roller in one hand and remove plastic clip with other. Then gently remove from hair (do not pull) and let hair bounce back after roller has been completely removed. Let cool for one minute and then style your hair. These hot rollers are 2 inches in diameter, which help smooth and add volume to your hair. IMPORTANT: After using the hairsetter several times, you will find the best timing for the texture of your hair and for the result you desire. Jumbo rollers create smooth, sleek lines of softer, sophisticated hair styles and add volume. Soft Flocking Layer Ceramic Thermal Layer Plastic Clip Aluminum Heating Core STYLING TIPS For soft curls and waves, use one or two rollers on the top front layer of your hair. Use the remaining rollers on the sides and back of the head. The hair should be taken in equal sections and rolled under, toward your neck. After eight to ten minutes the rollers can be removed. Let hair cool for one minute and then style. Se vuelven muy calientes. GUARDE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN Modo de empleo 1. Ponga el aparato sobre una superficie llana y segura. Cierre la cubierta y enchufe el cable en una toma de corriente. El cable de este aparato está dotado de una clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha que otra). Como medida de seguridad, se podrá enchufar de una sola manera en la toma de corriente polarizada. Si no entrara en la toma de corriente, inviértela. Si aún no entrara completamente, comuníquese con un electricista. No intente ir en contra de esta función de seguridad. 2. Nunca deje el aparato desatendido después de encenderlo. Desconecte el aparato después de usarlo. Permita que el aparato enfríe después del uso. Guarde el aparato en un lugar seguro. 3. Su cabello debería estar limpio y seco, o ligeramente húmedo. No fije el cabello mojado. CÓMO MARCAR EL CABELLO 1. Separe una sección de cabello, coloque las puntas en el centro del rulo y enrolle éste hacia el cuero cabelludo. Enrolle el cabello firmemente. Abra la pinza de plástico, posiciónela sobre el rulo y deslícela suavemente hacia el cuero cabelludo para sujetar el rulo. No introduzca la pinza en el centro del rulo. 2. La textura de las ondas dependerá de la temperatura de los rulos y del tiempo de pausa. 3. Deje los rulos en el cabello durante 10 minutos, o hasta que estén fríos, antes de quitarlos. 4. Para quitar los rulos: Sostenga el rulo con una mano y retire la pinza con la otra. Deslice suavemente el rulo (no lo jale) y permita que el cabello rebote libremente. Permita que el cabello enfríe antes de peinarlo. Los rulos tienen un diámetro de 5 cm (2 pulgadas) para suavizar y dar volumen. IMPORTANTE: La experiencia le enseñará cuanto tiempo dejar los rulos en el cabello, según su textura, para conseguir los resultados deseados. Los rulos "jumbo" son perfectos para crear estilos sofisticados, con líneas suaves y elegantes, y para agregar volumen.
