Safety and Compliance with the Law
Congratulations on your purchase of your new e-bike. Your new e-bike is an excellent piece of personal transportation equipment that will give you good service for many years.
Before you start using your e-bike, please be aware of a few important points:
- Observe Laws Regarding the Use of Battery-Operated Bicycles: Your e-bike is designed and manufactured to meet safety requirements as a battery-operated bicycle. However, state and local laws governing the use of battery-operated bicycles on public roadways, parks, and other open areas may differ. Please check with your local authority before using your e-bike in public areas.
- Observe Laws Regarding the Use of Bicycles: Note that all laws regarding the use of bicycles in public areas, such as those mandating the use of helmets and infant seats, will automatically apply for e-bikes. Check with your local authority on what restrictions might apply.
- The Lithium-ion Battery of Your E-bike: Your e-bike is equipped with the latest battery technology. The lithium-ion battery is much lighter than lead- or nickel-based batteries used in older models.
- Your First Ride: Please be VERY CAREFUL when you are ready to get on your e-bike for the first time, as the e-bike moves significantly faster than a regular bicycle in active power-assisted mode. Take your e-bike to an area with a lot of open space before you start. Do not start pedaling hard as soon as you get on the e-bike (as you normally would with a regular bicycle), as the e-bike will accelerate under pedal-assist mode, and you may be unprepared for the sudden increase in speed. However, after a few times, you will enjoy using the pedal-assisted function.

Name of each Part
Components: Main body (frame, rear wheel, gear and chain, rear brake, battery, rear fender), handlebar subassembly (with brake levers, gear control, throttle control, display panel), seat, front wheel, front wheel fender, front light, tools, charger, foot pedals, and manual.
Assembly Steps:
- Attach the handlebar subassembly: Stand the main body of the e-bike on the kickstand. Stand up and lock the steering column. Insert the stem of the handlebar subassembly into the steering column, ensuring the fork points forward. Tighten using the quick lock.
- Attach the Front Wheel Fender and the Front Light: Ensure the fork is pointing forward. Place the front light and front fender within the fork. Attach the fender's projection to the bolt at the base of the steering column. Attach the supports (if present) to the base of the fork using bolts. Tighten all points.
- Attach the Front Wheel and Adjusting the Front Brake: Ensure the fork is pointing forward. Remove the protective bar from the front fork. Place the front wheel within the fork, ensuring the brake disc aligns with the brake block. Seat the axial stem properly within the receptacles at the tips of the fork. Tighten the nuts. Ensure the front wheel moves freely and does not wobble. Reposition and re-tighten if necessary.
- Installing the Seat and Pedals: Insert the seat pedestal stem into the seat column and tighten with the lever. Attach pedals to the crank, noting left and right pedals, and tighten with multi-tools. Inflate tires to proper pressure.
- Charging the Battery: Take out the charger, attach the power cord, and insert into a wall outlet. Insert the smaller cable into the battery's charging terminal. The battery should be turned OFF while charging. The charger's LED glows RED while charging and GREEN when complete. Disconnect the charger once fully charged.
After assembly, check all tightening points. Adjust handlebar height and seat height/tilt for comfort. Your e-bike is now ready to use.
Operating Your New E-bike
Turning on the Bike:
- Twist the battery lock counterclockwise to turn on the battery.
- Press the power button on the left handlebar until the display lights up.
- Ride the bike and twist the throttle bar or pedal. You can change the power level with control buttons (Level 1: slowest, Level 3: fastest, Level 0: human model).
Your e-bike is powered by a rear hub motor, controlled by a battery. You can choose between pedal-assist-only mode or full power mode (check local laws for full power mode permissibility), where you can also use the hand throttle.
Your First Ride:
Be VERY CAREFUL on your first ride. The e-bike accelerates faster than a regular bicycle. Practice in an open area. Avoid aggressive pedaling initially, as the e-bike will accelerate quickly. With practice, you will enjoy the pedal-assisted function.
Pedal-Assisted Mode:
The battery must be turned on for pedal-assist mode. Power assist is triggered when you pedal forward and stops when you stop pedaling. You do not need to pedal hard; light pedaling is sufficient. Applying brakes will automatically stop power assist. Power assist will turn off when the e-bike reaches the selected speed level. Use the gear shifter to select appropriate gears for road conditions.
Cruise Control:
Cruise control is triggered by holding the thumb throttle for 8 seconds and is released by braking, pedaling, or throttling.
Hand Throttle Control:
In hand throttle mode, power assist is determined by the throttle switch. Twist the throttle from its resting position to accelerate. Release to slow down, applying brakes if necessary. You do not need to pedal when using the hand throttle, but pedaling can conserve battery life.
Charging Your E-bike Battery:
- Use only the supplied charger. Using an unsuitable charger can cause overheating, fire, or explosion. Ensure charger voltage matches battery voltage.
- Charge the battery while the e-bike is not in use. Turn off the battery before charging. You can charge the battery while it is mounted on the e-bike or removed.
- Do not place the charger or battery near flammable substances. Keep away from children and small children.
- Do not charge unattended for long periods.
- To maintain battery life, charge when the power is below 20%. If not used for extended periods, charge fully and recharge monthly.
- Charging time depends on the battery's charge level; a fully discharged battery takes about 6 hours. The charger's LED turns from RED to GREEN when fully charged. Disconnect the charger after charging is complete. Leaving it connected overnight is acceptable.
- It is normal for the charger and battery to be slightly warm during charging.
Removing the Battery from the E-bike
The battery is designed to be locked in place with a key. For added security, you can remove the battery when the e-bike is parked unattended. You may also need to remove it for charging.
Method to remove the battery:
- Open the cap of the charging port and fold the bike.
- Insert the key into the battery, press the key slightly, and twist clockwise to the end until the lock bar withdraws completely.
- Carefully slide off the battery, as it is heavy.
Maximizing the Riding Range
Several factors affect electrical energy use and riding range:
- Fully charge the battery before a long journey.
- Rough road conditions and hilly terrain consume more energy.
- Frequent changes in speed consume more energy.
- Carrying more weight on the e-bike consumes more energy.
- Keeping tires properly inflated, the e-bike clean, and parts well-lubricated saves energy.
- Ensure wheels move freely without brake application. Check brake adjustments frequently.
- Pedaling while riding consumes less electrical energy and increases the riding range.
When the battery is turned off, your e-bike functions as a regular bicycle. For long stretches on level or downhill terrain, consider turning off the battery to conserve electrical energy.
Care and Maintenance for Your New E-bike
Maintain your e-bike like a regular bicycle: keep it dry, clean, and lubricated. Avoid parking in exposed areas.
Check brake effectiveness before each use.
E-bike Specific Notes:
- Your e-bike is designed for regular country road use for a single person. Avoid extreme maneuvers like off-road riding, jumping, or excessive loads, as these can damage the e-bike and cause injury.
- Do not use high-pressure water streams for cleaning, as water can seep into the motor or wiring, causing rust or short circuits.
- Avoid parking outside in rain or snow. After riding in such conditions, bring the e-bike inside and dry it thoroughly with a towel.
- Do not lose the keys. If one key is lost, make a backup copy immediately. If both keys are lost, the battery cannot be removed.
Special Care for the Battery and the Charger:
- Use only the supplied charger. Unauthorized substitutes can cause overheating, fire, or explosion. Ensure charger voltage matches battery voltage. Contact your dealer for replacements if the charger is lost or damaged.
- Do not open or alter the battery or charger.
- Keep the battery away from fire, corrosive substances, and liquids. Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures (e.g., direct sunlight).
- Do not short-circuit the battery poles.
- Battery charge holding capacity decreases with use. If the battery does not hold sufficient charge for short trips, contact your dealer for a replacement. Under normal use, the battery is rated for 500 charge/discharge cycles.
- If the battery will not be used for an extended period, charge it fully and recharge it monthly. Store in a cool place.
- The e-bike battery is engineered for high capacity and long life. Do not use it to power other electrical devices, as improper use can damage the battery, shorten its life, and cause fire or explosion.
