Basic Safety Precautions

To avoid damaging the device, accessories, or connected devices, and to reduce the risk of personal injury, discomfort, property damage, or other potential hazards, follow the precautions outlined in this guide and the detailed safety information available at g.co/pixel/safety.
Key safety points include:
- Handle the phone with care to prevent damage from disassembly, drops, bends, burns, crushing, or punctures. Do not use a phone with a cracked screen or damaged enclosure.
- Ensure the AC adapter and phone are well-ventilated during use and charging.
- Avoid exposing the phone to liquids, which can cause short circuits and overheating. If the phone gets wet, do not attempt to dry it with an external heat source.
- Charge the phone in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or moisture.
- Operate and store the phone within specified ambient temperature ranges (32° to 95°F / 0° to 35°C for operation, -4° to 113°F / -20° to 45°C for storage).
- Use only certified AC adapters and compatible charging accessories, available from the Google Store or authorized resellers.
- Wireless charging requires Qi-compliant or Google-approved chargers. Avoid placing metallic or magnetic objects between the charger and phone.
- Keep cords out of reach of children to prevent strangulation hazards.
- Prolonged exposure to loud sounds can cause hearing loss. Avoid listening at high volumes for extended periods.
Health-Related Functions
The phone's health and fitness tracking features are not medical devices and are intended for informational purposes only. They are not designed for diagnosing, treating, monitoring, mitigating, or preventing any disease or medical condition.
Battery Information
The phone contains a lithium-ion battery. Do not attempt to remove or replace the battery yourself. Contact Google or an authorized service provider for battery replacement. Improper handling or disposal of the battery can pose risks of fire, explosion, or leakage.
Disposal & Recycling
Dispose of and transport the device, batteries, and accessories according to local environmental and transportation regulations. Do not dispose of in normal household waste. More information on recycling is available at g.co/HWRecyclingProgram.
Medical Device Interference
The phone contains magnets that may interfere with pacemakers and other implanted medical devices. Refer to g.co/pixel/safety for more information.
Class 1 Laser Product
The device contains a Class 1 laser module. Use of controls or adjustments other than those specified may result in hazardous radiation exposure. Servicing should only be performed by Google or an authorized service provider.
Proper Handling and Usage
- Care and Cleaning: For basic care and cleaning instructions, visit g.co/pixel/care.
- Water Resistance: The Pixel 7 Pro is water-resistant according to IP68 standards but is not waterproof. Water resistance is not a permanent condition and can be compromised by normal wear, repair, disassembly, or damage. Liquid damage voids the warranty.
